Took Japanese for some time at Lapont. The teachers are really great. The text books いっぽにほんごさんぽ is OK but not as good as まるごと or げんき。(they kinda force you to purchase the textbook for big $$). My last class was a mix of motivated grown up with limited amount of time together with less motivated, sometime immature young adults (kids")."

Lapont Language Centre is an extremely friendly, helpful and professional Language School. You can see that the teachers love their subject and go out of their way to make sure you have an extremely positive experience learning a foreign language. The venue is clean and conducive to learning. The Lapont Language Centre Administration are extremely helpful and accommodating to your needs. This is a fabulous Language School and once I become proficient in Spanish (the Language I'm currently learning) will continue with other languages.

Whether you are improving languages that you already know or are learning one completely new, You will feel right at home here.Teachers are lovely to be around and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do which rubs off on the students, creating a really nice learning atmosphere. The coordinator Catherine serves as an aunty figure to all the students taking care of not just their learning needs, but anything else they need in general.What makes LaPont great is the fact that they purposely keep the classes small so that you can have a more efficient, and premium learning experience, this goes to show that they care more about the students actually learning rather than seeking profit only. The classes are very engaging and realistic, When you walk into your class you will feel like you are in the country of the language you are learning.Best language centre in Brisbane.

Great language teacher however the coordinator Catherine is very unprofessional from the very start. Massive lack of communication and wouldn’t allow the school to go back to a classroom setting when other schools and business were opening back up after COVID and students were clearly struggling to learn through online learning.17/8/2020: reply to below:I’m more than happy list our other experience as well with regards to the start of our journey. Such as non disclosure of extra fees and resources required before starting the course that was expected to be paid on the first day. Which we never received an apology for just an ‘ok pay later’ after arguing in the classroom in front of everyone which was quite embarrassing. It just would have been nice to have some good customer service and admittance of mistakes rather than being spoken to constantly in a condescending tone like a usual Karen would.And it was not a full credit offered it was a discount on the next class.

The staff at Lapont Language centre are helpful and knowledgeable. The classes are small, and flexible. This centre provides an excellent service.

I've been studying Japanese for a few years. The teachers are very professional, the content is always interesting, and the classmates are very supportive. The teachers are genuinely interested in languages and teaching.

I would absolutely recommend any person to do a Lapont course! The teachers are fantastic and enable all students to pick up the chosen languages very quickly, in a fun and pleasantly interactive environment. I’ve now learned Spanish after a year of Lapont courses and I’m very happy to begin learning French.

My wife and I have been learning Italian with Chiara for the last 18 months. We enjoy our weekly Zoom lessons immensely. Chiara is knowledgeable and professional (and very kind and patient) and always makes the lessons fun. She cares about all her students and goes out of her way to help us do well.

Had a great time studying Japanese at Lapont. Professional staff, engaging lessons and small class size made for a supportive learning experience.

My husband and I have been learning Italian through Lapont Language Centre since the beginning of this year. The classes have been engaging and the teacher, very competent and encouraging. During the recent lockdown due to COVID-19, Lapont was quick to restructure our learning from the classroom to an online space with little disruption to our learning. I have highly recommended Lapont Language Centre to my friends, and would encourage anyone wanting to learn a language to consider going through this centre.
