Sacred Heart Mission Op Shop - Preston

Well spaced out op shop and there are pretty good finds inside. I found a really vintage Roxette cd for $2. Good find!Clothes are all very well organized according to colors.The newest op shop on the block in Preston, it’s a little walk from the train station and the Preston market.

Don't bother bringing children to this op shop the woman was quite rude because my 4 year old nephew touched a utensil in the kitchen area. I was right next to him and she made me feel so embarrassed within the store. Not family friendly.

I wanted to get in the sun warming us before a cold sunless night.Decided to go for a takeout night.My husband loves chicken curry from MKS SPICES'N THINGS.Across the road is The Sacred Heart Op shop.I went here first as not wanting to curry up the shop. Hahaha.I have experience in the history of clothing as well as period collectables.Many items donated will be sort out by those in the Know of a saleable piece.I have an eye for quality , I have never had enough money to purchase first-hand.I did notice what I liked wasn't affordable to one on low income , as I was once there.This shop runs by donations, to allow the money poor to find second hand.Labels are overpriced to all but those whom can afford to pay.

24/11/2022 Preston store. recipe book marked $3 in front cover, took to counter told not our price, lady asked someone at back. Told it's $4. I said not right. Was told take it or leave it. Dishonest. Rude disrectful lady. Family, friends always supported this charity not anymore. I called head office, they never returned my call. Think twice about their honesty

Rudely told me they never do discount for anyone, but I witnessed another customer asked for discount and the same older lady with fizzy grey hair instantly agreed and said “always no harm asking”, can’t believe my eyes, 0/10 wondering what difference made her treat customers differently?

A large range of products for sale. Clothes, brikabrak, books - the stuff you find in op-shops with friendly service and clean surrounds and plenty of parking.

Don’t bother shopping or leaving donations. Rude, grey-haired middle aged lady works there on Sundays.I tried to drop off donations and she stopped me at my car to refuse, very very rudely and unnecessarily hostile. Looks like I’m not the only one to have met this karen.

Love this place, you can get REALLY good clothes here, lots of them! Got myself a beautiful vintage art case also.
