So friendly. I went in with my girl and felt like I was visiting a dear aunt. Lovely smiles, prices are very reasonable and good variety.

Visited Beat Street Dancewear with my wife as parents trying to shop for a 5yo birthday girl who 'just wanted to look like a ballerina' (i.e. not enrolled in any dance classes). Despite to the 'costumey' nature of our request, the shop owner (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was very patient with us and was able to find some lovely basics which we think will be perfect in looks, and just as importantly, in comfort. Another (very considerate) customer quietly told us that there are suitable and cheaper alternatives at places like BigW. We (pretty much) knew this but are really happy with our few purchases aside from also getting satisfaction from supporting smaller businesses in our local area. And who knows, a legit dancing class may well be in our little ones future. Either way, I'd be pretty keen to visit the store again another time (cute gifts!). Thanks a bunch.

The only place I will send my dancers to get shoes correctly fitted. These ladies have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the dance world and really know the in's and out's of dance wear. Love visiting their shop!

I’ve been coming here for about 8 years now and the ladies always have the patience for you they are friendly and kind to all and alway have the right equipment for my daughter!

Staff are very helpful and patient getting the right fit.They can get busy sometimes (especially just before ballet exams) so make sure you don't leave it till the last minute.

I had called the store 2 days prior and spoke with a lady advising her im after a long sleeve black shiny leotard. She said is this for Greek dancing"? I said "yes

Dissatisfied that i was abruptly turned away because they don't sell shoes unless the child is there to be 'fitted'. Isn't it my problem if i buy the wrong size?! I just needed the next size up... The store hours don't suit everyone and for full time working mothers it's extremely difficult to get kids there during peak dance class times on a Saturday so I will take my money and on going service to Padstow where the shop opens longer on saturdays, even allow exchanging and recognise that it's difficult for many to get a chance to go in with the child.

Rudest ladies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. the attitude and eye rolling at my audacity in trying to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter who is in another state. Ridiculous treatment of a customer. No smiles. Not helpful. Rude. I would give zero stars if i could.
