Cuppa Joe Cafe
Coffee is good, food is good, service was rude and unnecessary. Website says it closes at 3:30 so we came in at 2:15 for a late lunch and were told that we had 10 minutes till kitchen closed and they closed at 3. We ordered quickly and the person who took our order had no manners or respect- I’ve worked in hospitality and I would never be so rude to customers. Not happy

Came here twice (once for a meal and once for a takeaway coffee). Got served by the barista both times.The first time, the big breakfast was very generous with plenty of eggs and bacon. The cook did an amazing job considering how busy it was and how short staffed they were. Considering the price, it was well worth it.The coffee and service, however, could do with some improvement. The barista was rude and dismissive and, considering this, the coffee he made was below par. The milk tasted burnt and the coffee just tasted like bitter milk with of sweetness.All and all, it's a great place to stop over for a meal. Otherwise, head over to Fibonacci around the corner if you want a decent cup of coffee.

Hit and miss. I’m not sure what is wrong with your male employee. Everytime I’ve gotten a coffee off him his attitude has been rude and burnt my coffee..Other than that the coffee is good (when not burnt).

They really don’t get it!I really didn’t want to come back here for one main reason: the indifferent (almost doesn’t give a f..) attitude of the coffee maker and the cold service he present to customers. But I said I will give them another chance just to see whether he changed. Guess what, not at all. I have an award-winning business and for me to see this consistently frustrates me a lot! What is it, do you hate your job that much? Don’t you understand customer service and the importance of a simple smile and greetings?Anyway, not my problem anymore and I will never put my feet here again.For others reading this, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, Maitland has so many other cafés worthy of your visit!

Been here a couple of times now food and drinks great. Only have one problem staff need to smile a bit more and when serving at table have some curtious manners, instead of plonking food and drinks on table.

Great food at great prices. Customer service is always fantastic. We love going to Cuppa Joe! My favourite thing is the chicken, cheese and avocado on toasted Turkish bread (picture included). Yummy! I'm told the chicken and leek pie was also delicious.

Really enjoyed this cafe. I had the smashed avo and chorizo bruschetta with perfectly poached eggs and a double shot latte. Meal was perfect and the coffee tasted great. Would recommend.
