Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio

My Daughter is about to start her 5th year at Maxi Jazz Dance. We have had the chance to watch our little girl age 6 to now 11 build confidence, trust, leadership, Teamwork and so much more since she started dancing with Maxi Jazz Dance Studio.The teachers are so supportive and always making it fun. They have so many different options to pick from Mini moves to competitions classes.She had the opportunity to dance on a cruise Ship at the end of the year and we are looking forward to starting again. Maxi Jazz Dance Studio is by far one of the most supportive, welcoming dance centre we have seen. Miss Ylanda & Miss Maxine is always working on ways the Studio can develop and grow the dances opportunity’s. The girls have dance at a number of shows, fetes, fundraisers around Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.We recommend Maxi Jazz Dance to everyone of all ages and ability.

Such an amazing dance and cheer studio. The teacher/coaches are extremely supportive and encouraging. I believe they have been opertating for 30years their experience shows in their methods of teaching all ages girls and boys.I couldnt be more happy. My daughter use to be extremely anxious now her school teachers tell me shes becoming more confident and participating in all school activities.I know this is because of the time at Maxijazz. We are so greatful

I would highly recommend MaxiJazz to anyone. My whole family has been part of the studio in different ways over the past 19 years. Two of my daughters are still dancing and competing within the Open team. The MJDS family are always welcoming and make the students feel part of the family. Our girls have had multiple opportunities as part of the studio to dance overseas and for special performances. My daughter has danced with Maxi Jazz for the past three years & she loves it.The staff are great with all ages. I find the communication really good, everything is very well organised.No hidden costs either, most things are covered in the monthly payment (eg. no outlay for costumes).Our daughter also loves the extra activities & themed events that are organised by Maxi Jazz for the kids during the school holidays.Highly recommend :)

Maxi-Jazz is like a home away from home. My daughter has been dancing here since she was 18months and it has played a big part into moulding the confident little girl she is today. A business that delivers more than dance! With the increased price of living I have to be very smart with my budgeting whilst also having time for myself as a dancer and cheerleader! MJDS has all inclusive pricing so I only pay one price per month with no hidden fees!A beautiful studio culture that I call home. The team are so welcoming across all ages and I have made forever friends from this studio.

My home away from home! Our teachers are beyond amazing - they are patient, encouraging, and truly care about our students. The studio is so family-friendly, and love how supportive everyone is. I have found some of my forever friends within the studio! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this studio has something for everyone no matter your age or interests!

Good venue with lots of friendly staff and plenty of classes for our kids. The kids love coming here, and are growing in their capabilities. Clothing is available at good prices, and they host lots of special events throughout the year. Parking can be hard at times, particularly when class changeover is happening at the same time as other activities in next-door venues, but that's a minor quibble.
