Used to be one of the friendliest, most accommodating banks in Australia. Now just as obnoxiously reliant on menu-driven query queues as any bank.I miss the old version.

Have banked with Bank First for many years with no problems. Walked into their modernised bank centre for the first time today with my husband to sort out a surname change and also find out about home loan packages they offer.. And we were both wow'ed by the service as soon as you walk through the door. We interacted with 4 different staff members and they each provided above and beyond customer service. The staff were so friendly, caring and professional. Thank you for making us feel like one of the family, it was a wonderful experience.

I am a customer for three years now. I am very happy with the customer service. I feel the service is better than some of the bigger banks. Overall experience with the bank is very smooth and the bank is very clear with everything. There is nothing complicated or hidden. Quite transparent. Easy to use mobile app and online banking. Very happy with the overall experience.

My experience with Bank First has been unsatisfactory. After the way they have treated my family, I do not trust them. In my view, their name says it all: Bank First (and customers last). I used to do the majority of my banking with them long ago when they were the VTU, but I’ve moved to one of the big 4 now and I find them to be so much more helpful and honest than Bank First.

Invested in me. I think not. Knocking on their door at at 3.05 Someone came out to tell me that since Covid they were shutting at 3pm. Has anyone told them businesses have returned to normal and Covid is no longer an excuse for shortened hours. While I no longer teach I'm pretty sure that teachers who still teach can't get there by 3pm. So I went back the next day. No they couldn't help because it was a Teller in training and the person training them had gone to lunch. I respect her right for a lunch break but what kind of management leaves someone in in training alone. I saw this inexperienced teller have three customers in a row she couldn't help because she didn't have any backup support. The poor young thing was almost in tears. Day 3 had to go back again because no help yesterday. I waited almost an hour for help over the telephone In the end they didn't really help me. So went into the branch for the 3rd day in a row. I live a 25minutes drive away. And that is three days of having to go in. Finally the help was there but even the person who helped me was frustrated in getting into their system. They keep changing the system password " he said as he scrambled through a huge book of scribbled password. I'm going overseas. I'm dreading it. I am continually being locked out of my own account. I was told it was for security reasons. Well how secure will I be in a foreign country continually locked out of my own account. Without access to my money Get real and get human instead of automated. We need better service."

Time waster! Submitted everything required for home loan and couldn’t get any response after 2 weeks without me proactively chasing! After that, it was just excuses after one another and all info provided were expired. If you don’t have the capability for home loan, don’t offer it. you have wasted my time and I have missed opportunities because your team lack accountability. Stop promoting you can committed to pre-approval within 48hrs when u can’t even give mine after a month! I will forever remember you as ‘Bank Last’, what a complete disaster.

I had business dealings with Bank First’s Chief Operations Officer Ashley Hood, I found him to be the most unscrupulous individual I have ever encountered in the banking sector. After giving me his word on a deal not once, but twice, he then reneged citing personal reasons for this. I was left in financial crisis as a result of his deceitful behaviour.

No branches no atms and can’t even upload a cheque have to physically go to a post office. Also had numerous glitches where I couldn’t access any of my money once happening on a weekend when there’s no one you can contact about it because they don’t have any service on weekends
