Flower Power Garden Centre Taren Point

Absolute rip off. I can get the same plant, same size and same health/quality for $12 at Bunnings, while here it's about $57!! And that's not even in a fancy pot!! But the pots and decor are so nice... but what the absolute heck is with the prices?

Attended this store and didn't purchase anything but leaving the store I was asked to check my handbag and sure I agree with checking bags I work in retail myself but my bag was so small it only just fits my wallet and phone what do they think I am going to put in there. Not only was I disgusted but my husband and also another customer leaving at the same time I will never enter your store again.

Well stocked and fair prices for all your gardening needs. There is a florist and a Weber shop that stocks all models and accessories. Cafe for quick snacks. Plenty of off-street parking.

Whoever is reading this, please be aware:1. They do not refund anything. Purchased some decorative items that didn't fit the space and they wouldn't refund. Only exchange/store credit.2. The disrespect and arrogance of the staff (not the landscaping section) is unreal. The manager said, and I quote we're not obliged to tell you our return policy". Apparently the fine print near the registers is good enough and they expect shoppers to be aware.Even if they had all the right

I visited the store to purchase phalaenopsis (moth) orchids in mid April & was very impressed with the vast quantity they had in all different colours. All of the plants were very strong & healthy.Now, over a month later (photos taken today) the flowers are even more beautiful as some extra buds have now opened as well. The large one was $51.99 & the smaller one was $36.99 but I was fortunate as they were having their 20% off promotion at the time which reduced the price.Please note that they did not come with the decorative outer pots that I have their pots standing in now.If you buy one of these beautiful orchids they are very easy to care for & so much better than cut flowers. The main thing is DO NOT kill them with kindness by overwatering. Feel the growing medium & only water when it has dried out to be only slightly damp, approx every 2 weeks in the cooler months. Also, do not put them in direct sunlight, they like bright or filtered light.

Flower Power is the place where a home gardener’s dream can be fulfilled. The centre offers a variety of plants, homewares and decorative items.Staff are approachable and helpful, but I find the price way more expensive in comparison with similar shops.

I purchase 4 teddy bears and pots from mascot. They started to get brown leaves and I went to Taren point store and spoke to a female horticulturist who said to use root rot. I bought this product and now all 4 plants are dead. I was corresponding with Greg from Taren Point store via email about this.. They first said the plants died because of where my landscaper planted them. When I pointed out these plants had been ok for a year they then went to the company who makes the “Root Rot” clearly trying to blame them and this company said that would not kill the plants. And why would the company accept liability!!!So after several emails, flower power would not accept liability for the wrong advise and refused to compensate in any way.DONOT ACCEPT ANY ADVISE FROM FLOWER POWER!!!!
