Butcher Shop Cafe
All day breakfast available, had a bacon and eggs with grilled mushrooms - delicious, fresh and not too greasy. Plus the best mug of cappuccino I've had in a long while. Courteous, friendly staff provided quick service amid a great atmosphere in the charming old town of Gulgong. Lots of choices on the menu with booth and/or table seating. Highly recommend, you can't go wrong!

Great food. Huge selection of breakfast and lunch options. Kids loved the milkshakes and pancakes - they even split the portions for us. Highly recommend after the pioneer museum and before the gold experience.

Called in for lunch. Ordered a ham, cheese and pineapple melt. Very Very disappointing. One slice of bread with ham and pineapple...very small amount of cheese melted on the pineapple. That was it for $9.00. No 2nd piece and no garnish. I could have got a ham or chicken salad sandwich for exactly the same price and got a lot more for my money!Would not recommend and would not go there again.I like to support cafes in little towns over fast food franchises so we were very disappointed.

Butcher Shop Cafe
Dropped in yesterday while driving through Gulgong. Butcher shop cafe was busy but not overly noisy. Service was a little bit delayed due to high number of customers but staff advised of this which I felt was good. BLT was nice, great bacon but I felt the bread had been toasted a little too much drying it out. My iced long black was very strong and bitter. It appeared that the coffee grounds were in the drink (colour of it was brown not black). I would still eat here again as staff were good and menu seemed to be good also.

Lovely cafe on the Main Street through Gulgong. Friendly staff to newcomers and regulars alike. Simple but very tasty breakfasts amid some of the nicest folks I met on my trip through NSW. Highly recommend.

Cosy little cafe with booths, the staff are accomodating. The food was decently priced with a variety of meals that catered for all. The eggs benny and the toasties are the best! The coffee was average.
