We recently purchased six various lights from the Alexandria store. The service was great and because we were visiting and some stock was not available for us to take on the day Beacon staff arranged for the lights to be delivered to us. The lights were well packed and the lights picked up on the Friday getting to us 600 kilometres away on the Monday. Great retail experience

Kyle from Beacon went the extra mile for us this week on a very large order. We were blown away by his professionalism, knowledge & friendliness. Highly recommend him & the Beacon team. We will be back.

Although the staff are friendly and helpful, the products I received were all damaged.I was looking at purchasing a lamp and, thanks to the help I received in store, I took one home. After realising that it didn't quite suit the space and that there was a dent in the base, I returned it the next day.I ordered in another different lamp from the warehouse and it was ready in five business days, faster than the 7-10 business days I got told. I am now happy with the lamp, however, it does have a dent in it like the other one.The staff here are friendly and make an effort to inform you about what you need to know. It's just a real shame that all the products I received were damaged.

Went to the store today to ask about the LED downlight. I was looking for a more premium option and was looking to purchase at least a hundred lights so I expected the staff there to at least give me some knowledge. Instead, I got served by a girl who got absolutely zero knowledge on them. She told me all LED are the same even the hundreds to the cheap one, and people just choosing because of the brand (???). I would expect a staff selling something technical would at least understand what it is. What a waste of time.

It has been 4 weeks, I have paid $500 and no fan or even email to notify me that the expected 5-10 days would not apply. I phone and was informed the part is not in stock, which is not advertised on the website. By the time I get my ceiling fan it will be winter.

Was looking for an E12 light bulb, they don't stock them

Have had a shocking experience with beacon lighting. Our fan with light combo broke just outside of warranty. Beacon agreed to send out a new receiver but sent the wrong one. They refuse to replace the unit. It’s cost us a fortune in electrician call outs and the fan wasn’t cheap to start with. You’d expect it to last longer than the warranty period. What a rip off. Tempted to write the ACCC. Never shopping at Beacon again.
