Blackheath Lookout
Beautiful lookout! Drive is abit bumpy so make sure you go slow unless you have a 4WD or Ute.

We found the views from the paragliding platform better than the lookout itself. Just note the road is currently in a bad state with many potholes. Most people have no issues in their 2WD vehicle though I personally wouldn’t drive it again. Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

Blackheath Lookout
The road was very bumpy but it was 100% worth it!! The view is breathtaking. There are also picnic tables which you can sit and the place is usually not crowded.

Beautiful lookout. On the way once dirt road starts dont turn around, u on the right track. Road can be bumpy but definitely worth the views.

Blackheath Lookout
Very nice lookout, short stroll to a bench where you can enjoy the sunset. Ameneties located on site, didn't go in there so can't review that. Picnic area looks good and there are some firepits aswell.When we where there they were paraliding, that looked awesome. Just stay off the artificial grass when they're around people... they're taking off and landing there. A couple just put there chairs in the middle of the patch while they were flying...

Blackheath Lookout
Amazing lookout, one of our go to's.The ramp is slowly breaking apart, so be super careful if planning to stand at the end of it.We got there around 5:30am, super quiet and empty, was foggy, but cleared up after awhile.To get to that wooden ramp (in the photo), follow the path on the right and there'll be an off trail path hidden along side it near the end, take that dirt path and it'll lead you to the ramp.

Easy access along a dirt road however the road can be a bit bumpy. The views are fantastic and it is very much worth a visit! You can also watch the hang gliders from here.

Blackheath Lookout
It was a very picture-perfect lookout and I loved my time having a quite moment. It is truly a treat for the eyes. One thing is that I discovered that there is a ramp that takes you to the edge of the lookout - it's probably a paragliding take-off point.

One of the best lookouts in the Blue Mountains as this is away from the tourist Hotspots
