I can highly recommend 'J & M Automotive Services Portland' Mechanic / Owner 'Johnny' is honest, reliable, & most importantly trustworthy.'Johnny' will go out of his way to ensure the job is done right & at a competitive price.Also his follow up of any issues after the repair is done is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble.Great mechanical service centre, with old school honest values.. :)

10/10 honestly best mechanic I have ever had so thorough and the best service you could ever imagine. He doesn't just fix your car but shows you what the problem is and explains what he did to fix it. It's like you can learn more about how your car works each time. I would recommend to everyone.

This garage only been operating short time, heard some local favourable reports , however , I often drive past every day, business looks closed and not in service , doors are closed and no cars on forecourt or in driveway at side, and only 1 review for 9 months of trading ; not inspiring of confidence, given the number of mechanics in Portland , at demand for mech services here , this chap will have to lift his profile marketing wise, and be open for biz every day incl Saturday mornings !!!
