Econo Lodge Portland

We stayed at Econo Lodge - Portland, during the Easter weekend for 4 days. At first glance even though it has a bit of an aged look on the outside, the room and the bathroom have been renovated. It was very clean and comfortable.The staff is very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. We had a problem with the Hot water and the shower. I informed the Evening Shift Staff member around 9pm. I didn’t expect she would attend to it till the next morning. But to my surprise she came with a handyman within 10 minutes and got it fixed.Thank you for a lovely stay.

The noise from the hotel, Music/Band played to about 1pm, Bottles from Hotel emptied into skip every 45mins, having to tell the young's ones in couple rooms down to be quite at 2:30am plus the light fitting above bed leaking on my wife when it rained. no sleep had Staff at checkout didn't care. we had a 3-night booking and checked out at 11am next morning. Free breakfast was the only good thing.

Good little place for a pit stop. Had all the basics in the room, even biscuits for tea! Bit dated but it was fine.
