Ocean Grove Holiday House
This is a great house very close to the beach. A 100-metre walk to The Ocean Grove Hotel (a fantastic pub), Cheeky Cow cafe, and a further 400 metres to the beach, though unpatrolled and marred by strong rips and undercurrents. The house has a woodfire oven and plenty of firewood, some small column heaters and a split system air con. Shame there's no ducted heating, as the rooms can get a bit cold. Still, it's fun lighting the fire, but does take a certain skill. The rooms are very comfortable and gave new carpet - very soft under the foot. The outdoor dining area is awesome - large dining table on the porch with bbq, then a pond (complete with frogs!) and a small'ish, but fun, backyard with an awesome cubby house and set of swings.Lots of toys, games, books and magazines, and beds (four bunk beds and two queens in the three bedrooms). Fetch TV plus Netflix, plus free Wi-Fi.There's an extra charge for linen. The laundry is great, with washing machine and some basic laundry equipment - vacuum cleaners, mop, and dustpans. One toilet only, but the bathroom makes up for it, with a huge spa bath. Shower is standard, and the water pressure drops a bit. There's a huge window that opens up to the backyard - very nice!Kitchen has lots of storage space and utensils. The oven is old and bit fan forced. Lighting it was a bit risky, as the igniter didn't work. Nothing that couldn't be overcome.Reasonable rates and terrific communication. A great place to stay, maybe more so in the warmer months.

Ocean Grove Holiday House
Nice house, huge kitchen, nice outdoor areas, close to the beach, and a spa bath! Beds are a quite wobbly, which can make them uncomfortable if your partner shifts around, but are otherwise comfortable. Per friendly, and well equipped for families with young children (lots of children's toys)
