Edward Lodge, Brisbane, Boutique Accommodation

We stayed here after Easter this year. It is a nice old establishment with nice interior. Our room was spacious, the shower however, was a bit crammed. Not sure about the bottled water, we stayed for four nights and we never got replacements. Otherwise the cleaner was polite. It is a walking distance to the New Farm Ferry Terminal where you can get free ferry to get to the CBD which can save you parking fees. If I visit Brisbane again, I would stay here again.

This is now one of our favourite places to stay in Brisbane.Beautiful renovated rooms offer incredibly comfortable beds, furniture within spacious surrounds.The bathrooms are a mixture of period and modern appointments with a hot and powerful shower available.The downstairs breakfast area was very relaxing and a nice place to eat and enjoy your morning brew. Espresso machine available.Coffee and tea options are available in-room. There is also air conditioning and windows can also be opened, which is always great.Free street parking is available and not too difficult to secure close by.

I spent a few nights at Edward Lodge in March and enjoyed myself so much that I extended my holiday by another three nights! Edward Lodge is a beautiful oasis and a perfect place to return to after a long day exploring Brisbane. It's located in a great pocket of New Farm, within walking distance of many awesome bars, cafes, parks, the river and the central city. The ferry wasn't operating when I was there (due to flood damage) but the terminal is super close to the hotel and would have made getting around even easier. For me, the bus network was perfect as was the amazing pedestrian path along the rivers edge which took you straight to Howard Street Wharf or Tenneriffe (with cafes overlooking the river along the way). Phillip was a gracious host and the breakfast provided each morning - including gluten free options - meant that you started the day with a full stomach. I can't recommend Edward Lodge enough and will definitely return for future holidays.

What a wonderful find.Lovely small BnB/ lodging house, very clean and well presented.Great situation in a quiet suburb, 2 mins walk to the local park and shops and 8 mind walk to the Brisbane River where you can get the free Kitty Cat ferries into the city centre ( about a 25min journey), they run every 1/2hr until midnight. The larger City Cat boats run more often but you will need a Brisbane Gocard to use these or the buses.The owner was very helpful, even greeted us when we arrived quite late at night.Great continental breakfast.I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are visiting Brisbane.

This place has real home comfort vibes. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, lovely balcony to sit on in the afternoon, a short walk from shops and the park and river, very clean. Some of the nicest linen I've slept on in a hotel. The breakfast included in the price is nice and simple and caters for gluten free options. I would definitely stay here again. It's truly beautiful.

Beautiful looking place but our room was horrible for the price. We struggled to find parking and ended up parking 3 streets away. Might suit others but it didn't suit us. Staff were friendly and it's clean.

Comfortable Bed, well appointed, renovated with a classic and very smart edges. A generous continental breakfast included. This is our go to when in Brisbane! Thank you Phil

We had such a wonderful stay here. This place is such a gem and very well kept. Everything was really clean and you even got brekky in the morning :) this is my new place to stay in Brisbane.
