Great community garden with a bunch of friendly volunteers. Has a food swap once a month and a cafe which sells random cakes baked by the volunteers. Great for a coffe in the garden. Only issue os the cafe is generally only open on the Saturday once a month. But there is a farmers market next door every Saturday so you could always grab a coffee from there if the cafe isn't open.

Gorgeous urban oasis in the heart of Coburg. Productive food gardens, monthly food swaps, organic plant nursery with huge range of seasonal vegie seedlings and other plants. Beautiful surrounds ands family friendly.

Pepper Tree Place is one of those little tucked away urban retreats from the rush and bustle. It's a real community hub in Coburg with a nursery, community composting, workshops and a monthly market on the first Saturday of every month from 10am to 2pm featuring a produce swap and cafe.

This review was written when it was run by Kildonen uniting care.... not Kevin Heinze Grow..The kitchen Cafe is no longer like this.Peppertree Place is wonderful... the gardens are beautiful. The cafe has wonderful coffee and delicious desserts!!! The nursery has a good selection of plants and fantastic prices! Beats Bunnings hands down!

The people at Pepper Tree are friendly, and though not always knowledgeable (they are volunteers), there is usually someone around who can help! The community built around this lovely place is welcoming and supportive. Be sure to have a good wander around and see what the property has to offer!
