Hive Hotel (formerly Luhana Motel)

My partner and I stayed in a pet friendly room with our dogs. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our needs and wants. The room was pristine, Which was a lovely surprise. Definitely the highest standard motel I have stayed in. Hats off to the lovely ladies that clean the room. Thanks for a great stay. We will be returning guests on our way back through.

My partner and I went on a little trip to celebrate our engagement. Although we were only there for one night, the staff were amazing and so kind. Bought us flowers, chocolates and drinks. They were so kind and we really appreciate everything they did for us. Would highly recommend!

Deceptively spacious, sparkling clean and modern. The little kitchenette was well equipped. We enjoyed a short game of tennis in the morning while the kids ran around in the yard. This is an amazing family friendly accommodation with modern facilities. Highly recommended.

I had no wifi reception. It was so far away.Don't come here if you need a good stable internet for work.Location and staff was great.

Refreshed rooms with every little detail considered. Walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants and great coffee spots.

We arrived late looking for a room and the manager was so hospitable and really helped us out and was patient. We highly recommend this place as it was clean and most of all you are supporting a great local business who are kind and caring people.Thanks!Kurt and Ana

New owner is doing a great job here. Renovations are currently under way (Dec 2022) and the lovely host is doing his best to minimise any interruption to guests.Our room was beautifully done and the shower was amazing.Very comfortable, and very lovely service.Thanks so much

Interior - wonderful. Brand new and immaculately clean. No complaints. Externally, the place is being revamped which is great.Ammenities - exhaust that sits above the oven/stove not ducted to roof so smoke gets into room when cooking. No pots or pans provided or cutting knives. We had to ask for these. Only one pan could be provided so we were unable to even boil an egg. Frustrating.Room service - we stayed 4 nights and were not provided with any room service despite request. We were also charged for a 4th person although the advertisement provided that the room accommodates 4. It was advised that the charge is associated with a room service fee for the 4th person however no room service was provided. Odd.Host - the lady on the phone was great, polite and courteous (cannot recall her name). A gentleman however knocked on our door at 10pm as he saw another person enter the compound in the belief he was staying with us - the reality was is that individual was staying elsewhere and was in fact going fishing with a person staying with us. Unnecessary. The host enabled us to check out at around 12 which was great.

Our car broke down and we were towed to Moruya and Hive accommodated us in the evening despite it being afterhours and they assisted us remotely and the check-in process was simple and straightforward. They were very understanding and allowed us to check out a bit later as our car was being fixed. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. Excellent service and the room was modern and clean.
