Stopped at the Big Chook in Moonbi during our recent trip. Was so good we stopped in again on the way home. If you want a coffee or takeaway stop in.

A few parking spots at the front. Quite a few picnic tables. Some toilets. All good. A weird big chicken on a post. What's that all about? This is the first stop out of Tamworth if you need a break pretty close to the road but just ok. There is a museum next door you can have a look in.

Just excited to see something big that is different, yes a chook. A clean and tidy park with parking. It was good.

Don't know why the chook was there, but the grass area had some picnic tables and clean toilets. There was a museum but was closed when we passed through.
