We waited 25minutes at the table to get the food after ordering. Others ordering after were served first. They seem focused on pumping out the Uber Eats / MenuLog orders as priority. Food was okay. Place is cheap - that’s the drawcard.

Not a good experience with this Indian restaurant.Ordered snacks first just to taste quality of food.Samosa chat was stale, will rate 3/5Bread pakoda was cold and was dipped in oil, was so so oily that our mouth was filled with only cold oil, rate-0/5After all this thought to cancel are rest order and we packed chole bature as it was already ready. So we took take away.Chole bature was so rubbery, looks like they have not changed oil since a week. Was to greasy and we couldn’t finish that, rate 1/5 (rating of 1 is for chole).Would not recommend at all.

When 70% of the customers appear to be from the Subcontinent, chances are it's going to be good! And it did not disappoint. Good honest, tasty food with service to match. And all for $23.

We went for a late dinner. Place was full of patrons. The restaurant is a favourite with the Indian community. Your food choice is served in a recyclable tray. Accommodates sauces, rice and space for naan bread etc. The venue is licensed. Self service on app and pay at counter. Be patient please, they also do take aways for online orders. Staff are friendly. Food is very tasty and well priced.

Punjabi Rasaoi is on Edward Street Spring Hill nested near a number of hotels in Brisbane which is how I found it when I was last there. I was looking for Indian food for dinner and I came across Punjabi Rasoi and immediately noticed how many Indians were dining there. I chose a 2 curries meal special: a butter chicken and a vegetable curry and it was served on a tray along with a spicy mixed salad and naan bread. Not bad at all for a quick fix. I found the butter chicken particularly good and also worth mentioning economically priced. Very satisfying. You order at the counter and then wait for the GPS unit to flash ready. The staff taking orders were friendly and assisted with the meal choices. Plenty off street parking nearby. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

We got recommended to try this place whilst visiting the Spring Hill area of Brisbane. Both enjoyed Punjabi Rasoi, and tried various different curries including the goat curry and butter chicken.Would definitely return here again for the food, however the amount of single use plastic the restaurant goes through is concerning. All meals are served on plastic trays which are not reused, even water was served in plastic cups…

This is one of my family’s favourite restaurants. Everytime we go we get amazing service. All of the staff are very welcoming and polite. The food here is always perfect and fresh. We always are bringing our friends here and we highly recommend that you go here too.
