I admire the work being undertaken by Katrina at Koala Gardens in Tuckurimba. Her devotion to protecting koalas for the future is a blueprint for other land owners.

Koala Gardens
An excellent example for the importance of trees and habitats for wildlife. I'm lucky enough to be able to visit this property regularly and seen the huge amount of progress over the last 4 years. Katrina does a wonderful job looking after the property and keeping track of the Wild Koalas. While it's not publicly accessible at the moment it's a great place to keep an eye on into the future.

Koala Gardens
Katrina is doing a fabulous job on providing essential habitat for this iconic species. She monitors the koala movements every day and ensures they have a protected environment in which to live. She conducts field days to help other landholders do the same with their properties.

Koala Gardens
Koala Gardens is the best thing that can happen to koalas. The property is a protected area for all native animals and plants and Katrina works in koala care. If more landowners in Australia were like Katrina, we wouldn't have a problem with the environment and extinction of native animals.
