BIG4 Conway Beach Tourist Park Whitsundays

Stayed at BIG4 Conway Beach with family and the kids and adults has an absolute blast in the new water park and pool, so much better than the old one.Facilities are spotless, staff very friendly and the best burgers at George’s Diner.So impressed we have booked to come back next year.

Amazing little place to base yourself, very clean and tidy. The owner was polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our night sleep over.

Took the kids to Big 4 Conway Beach to get away from the crazy city life and give our kids a bit of a getaway. The rooms were great, the kids had a great time in the water park, riding the bikes, riding the train, and enjoying the scenery around them.Although the facilities were great, the hospitality/kitchen side of things could be improved. Being the first ones at the diner waiting for it to open for breakfast, to being the last ones in the diner and then being served our meal was disappointing to say the least. (We were the only ones in the park with small children) Being told by the kitchen hand that they’re not sure how to serve a simple dish such as pancakes, kind of blew me away a bit. While waiting for our meals the intermittent music made the atmosphere of the diner more irritating than enjoyable… and forgetting cutlery…. not sure if we will be returning to this one again.

Such a shame - was really looking forward to staying here however with a death looming in the family we have had to postpone our trip. Zero compassion and blatant rudeness from the person on the phone and zero willingness to allow us to move the date into the future after the funeral. I understand the cancellation policy but this is well outside of our control. When we can go on holidays, we will not be staying at a place that treats people this way!

Nice place to stay however after a long days fishing we headed to the pool only to be told it closes at dusk for cleaning and everyone had to get out,bit of a Shame as it was still school holidays and the weather was very hot also make sure food is packed as the shop closes at 5.30pm and diner is only open Saturday nights for dinner, apart from this the park is great and has everything you need for that fishing trip away.

This was my first stay since the caravan park became a Big4. We had a great time here and will definitely be going back in the future. We stayed in a cabin that was very close to both the pool and water park. The pool is a generous size it could do with a shade sail to provide a little shade during the hotter times of the day. Otherwise, it's a great pool. The water park is fantastic, a great setup, especially for the younger kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach is only about 200m from the park, which is also great. I rate it at 5/5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautifully kept park, staff and management were all friendly. Diner is a little gem and great activities for kids to do.

Simply a must for a planned get away, spent a weekend here and felt totally relaxed and comfortable. Located in a quiet location with the beach only 2 or 3 hundred metres away. They have pizza night every Saturday and staff are very accommodating. The train they run for kids comes twice a day and is an absolute hit for them which they do with no charge. Will definitely go back.
