I’ve used the Allied franchise several times for international moves with good results, so thought I would use them for my move from Australia to the USA. What a BIG mistake!! The service I received from the sales team and shipping coordinator was great while in Australia, however the actual packing and care of my goods was abysmal. For a move that will take 4 to 5 months to arrive and cost me $24k, I would expect exemplary service. What I received was far from it. Not only were my goods packed carelessly, (ie: a plastic container triple wrapped unnecessarily in paper, yet my antique irreplaceable table was carelessly wrapped and arrived with a broken leg. )By far the most horrific result was the lack of even one silica pack to help with moisture content. My entire shipment arrived covered in mould, the furniture finish damaged on many pieces and the Persian rugs were literally wet and mouldy. Unsatisfactory doesn’t even begin to describe!!!Because I’ve moved many times internationally without incident I did not take out insurance- very poor decision with this company!! They refuse to take any accountability for their woeful service provided and I am left with damaged personal goods, many of which are not replaceable. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Right from the start they made our move a good experience by being punctual helpful and very professional. Ours was a difficult move into a unit with limited access but the removalists did a great job with no fuss and we highly recommend Allied to anyone wanting a seamless move.

For our pickup, Allied Removals Varsity did a great job. Hard working team, The Kent Team, efficient and courteous throughout - we would like the same team for delivery if possible. This is the third time we have used Allied, and I thoroughly recommend them. Update - As expected the drop off went smoothly, the Kent Crew were diligent and good humoured, we are very happy with the service and would recommend Allied Removals to anyone. Not forgetting Shane who did 2 quotes as our circumstances changed, and the coordinator Fale who suggested organising the payment through the settlement funds, which was a huge relief to us. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant- they made the stressful move that much easier. Thank you guys.

Was very disappointed this time. I chose Allied this time because my initial move they were fantastic. This time I’m so disappointed. I got them to pack this time, to save me going back. 90% of Boxes aren’t labeled. If they are it’s wrong. Opening a box labeled wine to find books. A very expensive computer monitor just put in a box with no protection packaging. This has made unpacking long and frustrating. On a positive note the Toowoomba guys who delivered my stuff were fantastic considering it must have been frustrating for them as well.

We recently moved within the gold coast and because it was not a same-day move I really wanted to use a company that stored my belongings in the containers they were packed in and not re packing to a storage place, double handling and risking damage. We chose Allied because right from the first contact with Nathan I felt comfortable with our decision. The actual uplift was not only super fast and efficient, they were also really friendly and polite. Delivery also ran smoothly and fast, nothing was damaged and even help me move the couch a few times until I was happy with the positioning. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to friends and family. :) Thanks so much Allied Gang! :)
