Medical One - Sunshine

I have been going to this doctors office for close to 15 years, my entire medical history and everything I’ve gone through is with this office. Now, they’ve gone private and are making us pay for our consultations! Not to mention, I can’t go in for a face to face as I have covid symptoms even though I am RAT and PCR negative, but as I haven’t been in for 12 months I have to pay full price, not even a Medicare rebate. Now I am stuck with finding another GP I can trust. Thanks for nothing!

I had an appointment with Dr. Niveditha, I felt unheard and judged for asking advice. I thought she might understand my concern instead she was not polite or empathetic towards my medical situation. as a patient and person i was uncomfortable. felt it was more like an investigative interview. bit disappointed with the receptionist also. she was just talking with a poker face.i mentioned while booking the appointment if they accept bulk billing. when i went there found out i have to get it claim myself. i dont think i will be coming back soon

Would not be going back to these guys! Completely ridiculous that they have gone ‘private’ in the last year and now charge over $70 for a simple Tele-Heath that has never needed to be done in the past. They give you a heads up of if you’ve been there face to face 12 months prior it’s waived but how are you suppose to know? Will definitely not be coming back.

I've been going to Medical One Sunshine for years. As if recently staff at reception have been extremely rude. I understand all the new medicare rules but they put it out to you like you owe them the money If you have any question about the payments .Just sad and horrible management. Not all staff but definitely few. It was like a safe place for us as a family having a daughter with autism but now don't think soo.

Friendly staff and great doctors never had problems there they look after you so well and so caring

Greedy and unprofessional. It was a long time ago when I went to see a doctor and instead of seeing me they seen everyone else first. I asked why and they mentioned because the others called first to book appointment. So basically of you don't call in advance they will keep pushing you back in the line. I ended up leaving and going to another doctor in werribee who seen me immedialty. Biggest waste of time I ever had.

$97 for a visit. Nope time to wait at the over crowded ER instead. Can’t afford that on a carers pension.

Dont go there. Too expensive. Have to pay out of pocket even if you have medicare/concession card
