Mountain Gate Vet Clinic

I have taken both my cats and dogs there over the past 24 years. They are kind, caring, costs are not extreme, they are knowledgeable and they also assist in organising a wonderful pet funeral/ cremation service. Only last week I rang them from Qld about euthanising and pet cremation for my sons dog. They were very helpful and my son and family were extremely happy with the care they showed their dog and them. HIGHLY recommend them.

All the staff at Mountain Gate Vets have been very caring. For almost 20 years we've taken our two staffies there. We mainly saw Jamie and occasionally Mandy. Both are caring and experienced vets. Their service was thorough and cost conscious. They gave excellent and sensible recommendations for our dog's end of life care. They don't over service by suggesting tests etc with return visits, and their fees have always been very competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great team . But prices have sky rocketed in the last 5 months since changing owners. I took my daughters rat 5 months ago costing me 60 bucks for consult and meds. Now it's 97.55 I'm shocked

All services we receive here are very professional. All veterinary and staffs are very nice and friendly. Only one thing I like to comment is the price for the service is more expensive than before. The previous owner of this service charge cheaper and more affordable.

All of the vets here were great with my elderly dog at the end of his life and especially Jamie when he became unwell with a brain tumour. I have now been bringing my puppy here and am very happy with how much time the vets here spend and the quality of service and how thoroughly they explain things to you. Their fees are also very reasonable in comparison to other vets.

I recently changed vets as I felt there was a strong lack of customer service and real" care from them. I understand business's get busy but I don't believe that should alter the level of service you provide. If anything

Prior to leaving Melbourne to go to the sunshine up North I used Jamie and other vets from this clinic for years and three dogs. ALWAYS the care and cost at this clinic was above and beyond any other vet I have visited. Jamie and the team went above and beyond and never ever charged prices that were not affordable.Unfortunately for all the beautiful pets Jamie is having a rest from his role and others have taken over the clinic. From all reports, the prices have quadrupled at this clinic so please letting everyone know that this clinic is not run by Jamie and Mandy anymore and they are sorely missed. So if you have read the wonderful reviews, then please do not expect Jamie or Mandy to be there. I am hoping that the new team of vets are half as good and considerate as the previous vets. And don't charge a fortune, but from all reports ,they do.

Have been taking all my dogs to this vet for many years, their pricing is so affordable yet they do an amazing job each time and are so professional and caring. Jamie performed an emergency hysterectomy on my 16yo elderly dog, and she survived it. I was so amazed at their exceptional work and care. When my new puppy was having strange symptoms, Emily and Jamie discovered she had a rare condition when all the emergency vets we saw misdiagnosed her. The nurses are all so lovely every time and remember our names too, thank you to the entire team for always going above and beyond.

Lovely staff who are very helpful and friendly. I've taken my dog here a few times and it's been affordable, professional and they've had same day appointments available. Definitely recommend.
