We like this spot. It has a few public toilets, a nice paved path and lots of trees. There is seating spread over the length of the walkway as well as a few BBQ's and even a fish cleaning station. One area has a netted off area for safe swimming for kids (I recommend high tide only though). There are a couple of take away shops as well as cafes to grab a bite to eat and some safe playgrounds for kids. In the off seasons it's relatively uncrowded and a nice place to walk.
