Brighton Holden (Certified Service)

Obscenely expensive minor service. It cost $700 to change oil, coolant, brake fluid and air filter. The warranty is only valid if we service at their service centre they charge an obscene amount to do so. Labour was $357, $92 for coolant and $47 for air filter. I looked it up and coolant is around $35 and the original air filter is $17.50 retail. $357 for labour is ridiculous it couldn’t have taken more than an hour to do, it’s just an oil change, fluid top up and check a few things hardly a job that needs 2 senior engineers. I’m not very impressed at all.

Not even 1 Star. The worst experience I have ever had after 55 years of driving, a Gold RACV member.After various phone calls they finally fixed my small problem , charged me $570 and when I went to start the car it wouldn’t go. The spare tyre and all that was in the boot was thrown in the back seat. Nothing put back into place.I would highly recommend no one to take their car to Brighton Mitsubishi, as it is now called.Very very disappointed and shocked by their so called service.

A day late and $500 short.TL;DR. One hour job took three days, didn't do what they said they were capable of, left exposed wiring in my boot. DANGEROUS OPPERATORS.I went to Brighton Holden after an insurance repair job didn't rectify my convertible roof. I spoke with Daniel in customer service, who assured me that they had an amazing team of skilled technicians and a diagnostic unit that will tell me exactly what's wrong with an hour (though it may be slightly more). Once I get there I'm told it will be at least three hours (still not a problem I want this done) so I leave and plan to come back later that day.I get a call at 4:00 saying they haven't figured it out yet and they will be keeping it overnight. Should have stopped them there but I thought if they can't get it no one can so I agree.By 3:00 THE NEXT DAY. I got fed up and called them demanding an update. I was told Shane, one of the technicians, will call in 5 minutes with an update.........At 4:00 (bear in mind they close at 4:30) I call again and Shane tells me they just finished and come down to pick it up. I get down there and wait another hour for him to do someone else's paperwork before finally doing my report. ended up costing me $480 and all they did was continuity testing on the wiring looms. He claims he can't test the motors or hydraulic pump (both specifically mentioned in the initial we can do it all" conversation) and it will cost over $3

I went in today to ask them to help me fix my car key Josh tried but he couldn’t so I appreciate that he did try. Thanks, Josh great customer service.

Theo’s service is absolutely amazing.He always goes above and beyond to ensure my husband and I have been looked after.We travel from the other side of Melbourne to get our car serviced here purely because of Theos friendly customer service.Thank you for always being such a pleasure to deal with.Nick & Alana

I wouldn't give a 1 star for this place as a customer service who makes a joke of the customer.I made an offer for a car and one of the staff made a big joke out of it which is very bad customer service who can bring down the business very fast by doing this kind of action.Please be aware guys out there who wants to buy a car or make an offer to the car what you can afford but they can't afford as they might not have a big chunk of profit slice from that car so they might put you down by making a laugh at you.Please be aware ...

Great looking service centre, friendly staff do what they say they are going to do and ring you if any changes. Efficient and fast service. 13.6.23 dropped car off as problem with changing gears and fault identified, luckily just new gear selector cable needed not a new gearbox! However what annoys me is that they say free wash and wax with every service and guess what my car never gets washed. When I picked it up I asked has it been washed and was told yes, all cars get washed, well you don't have to be told, it hadn't been washed. 16.6. Holden Service Centre rang to apologise that car hadn't been washed and if I liked I could bring car in to get washed, so yes of course. They did a great job too, so thanks Brighton Holden for following up, great service.

Great service as usual . Every part of the service experience was done to the highest quality in workmanship and customer service. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thanks again Andrew and the service mechanics. Cheers Max
