Beechworth Bakery Echuca

Big busy bakery with lots of cakes and savoury options although only one option for a vegan and that's the falafel wrap. It was tasty toasted. Tea came with unlimited top ups! Great touch. Coffee was nice

I went to the bakery to get some bread. I was expecting more choice, but as I like the and like sourdough bread, I chose a sourdough rye.I almost walked out before I bought it, and after tasting the bread, I wish I had.I waited about 5 minutes while someone was being served, but there were 2 other assistants who could have served me. I waited in front of the bread. Eventually the customers were finished, but a group of other customers walked in and stood in front of the assistant who had finished serving. They were served immediately. I was forgotten. Maybe I was standing in the wrong place, so I walked up next to the customers who were being served. When they were finished, instead of serving me, the assistant started on jobs behind the counter. The other two continued with their jobs. I asked if I was going to be served, and was told soon. I said in a loud voice to my husband that we should leave. The assistant who said soon said she could now help me.This was unfortunate. The bread was white and if there was any rye in it, it was such a small amount, it could not be detected by my husband or me. As for sourdough, it certainly didn’t seem like sourdough bread. In fact, the bread had no taste.I don’t know about other things in the shop, or why I was ignored, but based on my experience and the bread I bought, I will never return.

It's one of my favourite places in Echuca. Can not leave Echuca without having my scones with jam and cream from here. They have a great variety of cakes and biscuitsMy daughter really enjoyed their croissants with tomato, ham, and cheese toasted as well as their toasties. This place is a MUST!

Always delicious foods and drinks. Got myself a card so I will be back.

The best bakery ever with friendly staff and a big range of cakes

Such wonderful service and lovely place to dine in. I had the Vegan curry pie, vegan glazed donut and strong extra-shot almond milk latte…. All wonderful! The latte was spot on and nice and strong, and the donut was massive but OMG so nice!

My family and I had an amazing breakfast here. We ordered some toasties and croissants. A simple meal yet scrumptious and comforting. Their cheese toastie was buttered nicely and had a good cheese pull. Their coffees and hot chocolate were also very nice.Moreover, they offer a wide range of cakes, cookies and breads. They looked mouth-watering. Their cookies and meringues looked particularly cute - kids will enjoy them. I will have to come back again to try them.

AMAZING bakery. We loved the German donuts, filled so much with amazing custard and apple!
