The lovely ladies came to my house and did the horses teeth, they were very gentle and did a great job. I won't use any other vet .

**Long post but worth reading so this doesn't happen to you**I am APPALLED by the staff and lack of care at this vet clinic. My pup has a broken toe (simple you might think?) however this whole experience has been an absolute nightmare.Multiple bandage replacements have been inconsistent with 2 bandage changes being excessively too tight causing my puppy a great deal of distress and further serious problems. I called multiple times seeking advice of which I was always told “our head surgeon did it, it’s not too tight, it needs to be this way, discomfort it normal.” Which I would not normally argue with however there was something seriously wrong. My puppy was highly irritated and distressed almost immediately after bandage application of which i questioned that day but was assured it was applied correctly and safely. Her discomfort grew so I kept calling seeking advice and expressing my growing concerns and was only greeted with more attitude from multiple receptionist nurses who sounded more irritated from me simply calling and reaching out for help. (Polly and Kylee were particularly rude).I then emailed them videos of my pup highly distressed and in pain of which they showed the head surgeon who told them to tell me it was normal puppy behaviour. They then told me to sedate her if she didn't calm down. Me not being a vet and not knowing what to do, I got the pills to sedate her which only made things worse as it masked her pain and prolonged me from getting a second opinion. As soon as they wore off the next day my pups pain and discomfort heightened so I sent another video of which I got NO response (Kylee saw it and ignored it).I then called in the morning and was told to cut bandage off. No assistance and no follow up appointment to check it afterwards. My pup wouldn’t even let me touch her entire leg at this point so that morning I went to Bairnsdale Main Street vets to get a second opinion and so they could assess the current bandage application. The conclusion was that the bandage was excessively too tight, cutting off her blood circulation, causing her paw and ankle area to swell and double in size as well as her skin becoming red raw. Pressure sores and ulcers developed in between her toes and on her ankle area which are now badly INFECTED. She is in more pain and more stress than when she originally broke it.It's been 48 hours since the bandage came off and the swelling has not gone down, she will not walk or bare any weight on it and is extremely sore. Another emergency vet trip today and another Xray to determine nothing else was broken or fractured as vets thought could be possible due to immense swelling and no feeling in foot. I will now have further ongoing vet costs and treatment for something that could have been prevented based on their mistakes. Before this bandage application she could walk on it perfectly fine when taken out for supervised wees on the lead. I was even given advice I could take her for walks around the block everyday - now she cant walk at all.I have never been more worried in my life and I have never been so disgusted by such poor customer service and care from a veterinary clinic.I went back with my pup to show them the damage they have done and kindly asked for some kind of compensation and was again seen with hostility by the receptionist nurse Kylee saying “Well you have been coming in here a lot!” and “I can’t comment, I can't comment”.Since then my pup has been hospitalised and had necrotic tissue removed as she was at risk of losing her ENTIRE PAW. Her recovery time has now doubled and I am now hoping this hasn’t caused ongoing long term damage.I have a number of very disturbing images and videos from this whole experience which I am happy to share so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.My partner and I are in shock digesting what has happened and I will be avoiding this clinic at all costs!!!!

I suspected my cat had the flu, told the receptionist his symptoms and was told to book a consult. When I took him in I was told he would get over it on his own and not to worry unless his snot turns green. This was a complete waste of close to $100 for something that could’ve been told to me over the phone instead of wasting my money. I am a pregnant woman who is currently unable to work and cannot afford something like this for no reason. Goes to show money is more important than anything else.

Amazing caring staff, saying goodbye to your best mate is never easy. All the staff in vets showed kindness and didn’t rush the process and allowed me to say goodbye in my own time. Great people who work at Eastwood vets thank you.

I would strongly recommend you DO NOT take any animal here under any circumstances. Our dog has been misdiagnosed at this clinic twice. The second time if I had not taken her elsewhere immediately on instinct she most likely would have died. The first time she was diagnosed with a life long progressive illness. Again, on instinct we pushed and pushed for antibiotics and she was better in a week.We were also charged an exorbitant fee for a regular injection. Twice the price of our usual Vet in Melbourne.Being new to the area, we did not know better. Now we do.I would also recommend asking some locals to confirm that there is in fact, another Vet in town that is excellent.AVOID!!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!
