Ultra Tune Nowra

Took my Ford Ranger in for its first 15k service here, because I've only heard bad things about Kinghorn service department. Stupid mistake. Ultratune charge a minimum 2 hours labor for a oil and oil filter change. On top of the $220 labor for what is essentially a 15 minute job, they made over a 100% profit on the oil and filter itself, cost me $510. Will never come back here or recommend them to anyone. I heard they were expensive from a friend but didn't quite believe it till now.

At first was helpful as had a series break down on my front right hand wheel that left me needing a new break rotor, caliper, lockable hub assemble, and bearings and more. only replaced drivers side parts after me having to chase up a dealer who then, he went through taking three weeks to repair. At first everything ran smoothly but only after another month had gone by and little over 400km, the front left had the exact same problem occurred. On the day of the second break down I proceeded to call nowra ultra tune and politely asked why he didn't replace both sides, he then told me that if everytime something broke on one side he would not replace the opposite side. Which I was more then confused about. He then aggressively told me if I was looking for someone to blame to take my buisness elsewhere" and then abruptly hung up on me. This was highly unprofessional

Avoid this place. Rude Arogant Manager. Misdiagnosis of mechanical issues the car came back worse that putting it in for a service. Would not rectify the issue. Reputation for loosing Large fleet contracts and state management is aware of this behaviour and allows it to continue. probably couldn't tune a lawnmower ! save your money go elsewhere. they don't even deserve the one star!

I went almost every auto service station to fix my drain plug leak that was caused because of stripped sump plug hole. Everyone out there had a same reason for not fixing mine issue and that was because they were busy. Ant that makes sense because I did not have booking. But ultratune stand out from rest. Steve is very helpful. At least they fixed the leak temporarily with no charge at all. It was almost an hour or more job.Thanks Ultra tune team.

These guys were fantastic. I had a engine light come on my vf commodore. Rang holden in nowra and told them and have to wait nearly three weeks to let them look at it. I rang ULTRA TUNE and they told me to bring it down. They plug there code reader in ask me about the codes and reset them there and there. Holden also wanted 115.00 dollars just to look at it. So thank you very much to the guys at ultra tune. I will be going back from now on. John

I was on a trip to the South Coast when 30kms from Nowra an engine light came on. Fearing the worst I rang the nearest Ultra tune and on arrival Steve (I think the manager/head mechanic) diagnosed the issue (faulty park/neutral switch in gearbox) and reset it for no cost and as soon as I got there. When I went to offer him some money Steve just wished me ' a good trip'. I'd never been to Nowra before, let alone to the Ultra Tune there but those guys saved my holiday and the tiny budget I was on (Thought I'd be turning around and going home after paying to fix the car). Steve/ Ultra Tune Nowra are excellent, kind and absolutely professional. Thanks for being such an honest, kind lot.If I'm ever in Nowra again my car is coming straight to this business and I'd recommend anyone do the same. Liam.

This would have been the most expensive normal service we've had on our cruiser, there was nothing special done, no idea why they charged for a degrease didnt need it, we were charged over$600 charged 2hrs 40 mins $264 in labour, oil 11.5 litres $189 must have had traces of gold in it, plus oil filter and air cleaner. We have had normal oil services no different to above ,oil, filters labour and we've only paid in the $200 range so we feel we were ripped off and not happy at all with the costing, would never recommend them, or go there again. Unhappy Nomads about the service, were not made of money you know

On numerous occasions Steve and his staff have exceeded expectations. I always feel that I get honest and trustworthy advice. They always make time for emergencies and have not only helped me but out-of-town visitors as well. I would highly recommend Ultratune Nowra.

I was on a trip from Narallen down to Nowra for work. While driving I encountered issues that I had fixed at a nearby mechanic although straight after that I had my engine light come on and smoke coming out of my bonet.I was extremely stressed worrying that I was going to be stuck down in Nowra and went to MyCar for help although was turned away instantly due to their heavy schedule.I walked over to Ultra Tune and asked if they could help me out and check the car for me. They were extremely nice and told me to bring the car up so they could check it out.They had a look at the car and spent almost 30min finding out the issues and solving them the best they could. I'm extremely grateful for the great team they have and they also taught me alot on maintaining the car and didn't judge or discourage me for my poor maintenaince on the car. After all this I asked to give them money for 3 mechanics helping me and they wished me the best for my drive home with no charge.I am very happy with the service these people gave to me, even knowing I was out of area and even though I took up their time, they still helped me out in an amazing way and I couldnt have been happier.In the end I stopped in Kiama to get it serviced next week to be safe but I strongly believe these guys stopped my engine from blowing up or being stuck further done the coast.Amazing service keep up the great work.
