We went for their 1st ever Skins Tournament. A sensational beginning to what will become a popular event if they continue it. With only 14 Teams @ just $15 per player, they could not have possibly made a profit. It was great fun with a variety of people from all over the State. The afternoon tea and raffle was absolutely brilliant. Well done to everyone involved.

This club employ a young lad with cerebral palsy as their green keeper through an employment agency and are probably paid $30-$40 an hour to do so. They pay the poor lad $150 a week and he is doing 30-40 hours a week during the bowls season. If that doesn't tell you enough about the people that run this club I don't know what will. Also in 53 years they have won the Div 1 pennant on two occasions in a 6 team league, if you want success on the green find another club.

Should be called smithville bowls club, don't take your disabled kids there, they are not welcome. Club has won only 2 premierships in division one in 50 years for a reason
