Xavier Catholic College

My Son started in Prep at Xavier CC and is now in year one there. We were super nervous about him starting school, due to him having ASD level 2 and many struggles surrounding this.Xavier CC were nothing but supportive from the get go and were happy to put additional supports in place to help my Son get the most out of his education.We have always felt very much at home and accepted by Xavier and would highly recommend!

This school is terrible do not recommend. They are terribly strict for no reason ear rings to big they make you take them out. You get miss treated by the teachers and they do nothing about it. I wouldn’t advise anyone to attend this school.

Its simply because my kids matter. They are treated like individuals not numbers. Staff are very approachable and have extremely high levels of communication with parents. I wished I had a Principal like the junior Principal, Mr Davey. He seems to really love his job and the kids. Its such a pleasure to watch his interaction with kids. I am very happy with all aspects of the school.

The school it self is alright , however many students are found getting in Unnecessary trouble for anything the teachers can think of , having a simple necklace on can result in emails home and Detentions, children are held down and many of my kids have come home crying because of the way they have been treated . As a mother of 4 who have all gone to Xavier I would expect better . This school controls the property of kids , having a phone away in a pocket can lead to it being taken off the child even if it is not turned on and just away. I would not advise this school , go find a cheaper school which gives kids freedom and for free instead of this rip off. This school tells students off for extremes such as fingernail length , I would expect better from this school and not have to deal with overly strict staff.

The community at Xavier has been so welcoming, nice and given our family a true sense of belonging. My daughter's teacher has inspired a love of learning within her. It is an amazing school and I am so proud to be a part of it!

We are pleased that we chose Xavier Catholic College, for our Daughter's education, for many reasons. Such as the wide range of facilities it provides, the grounds and class rooms are excellently maintained with great sports fields and student recreational areas. It has the latest technology including a wireless network throughout the college to facilitate the use of student laptop & iPads. High quality education with a caring and supportive environment which we find actively encourages our daughter and her class mates to discover their own uniqueness. Our Daughter is really happy at Xavier Catholic College as the teachers dedicate a lot of time and effort in helping her succeed and actively care about her wellbeing. We would recommend this college to any parent that wishes their child to reach his or her full potential and achieve their ambitions.

Lovely school, great teachers, great support, caring environment. I honestly couldn’t be happier with any part of my children’s schooling. I highly recommend Xavier Catholic College Hervey Bay.

My 3 sons have attended Xavier over the last 10 years. The ethos we have experienced all the way through our interaction with the school has been the inherent value of each child as a person. If we ever talked about moving towns, all 3 would say ... not until I've finished at Xavier!""

The school bus that I take have Xavier students on it and from the moment they get on to the moment they get off they are rude and disrespectful toward most of the people on the bus (including the bus driver). They also swear a lot and they act as if they are better than everyone else, which is really annoying. I know it's not the whole school but it sets a bad example for the college.
