Laundry, has washing machines and driers. 30min wash, $5, drier is $1 for 5min. You need your own change, $1 or $2 coins, 20c for detergent

For my 10$ I got my washing clean and my washing dry all in under 1 hour. The dryer did an awesome job and the washer got my clothing clean. I wish I had known the washing powder was only 20cents and not a dollar.. bring 20c for your soap. The other machines take 1$ and 2$ coins. The seats are comfy. The place was clean and well maintained and really easy to get too. Well worth it if you are from out of town and in the Hobart area.

This place stinks like smoke. Please put a no smoking sign up at the entrance! Man continued to smoke outside door, even when asked by a customer not to (because there were children sitting inside). He then started swearing. Gross.We will be using a different laundromat next time!

Under new ownership, it has new machines and tap and pay, so no need to hunt for Goldie's.

reasonably priced, easy to use machines, staff were helpful with advice for first time dryer users. very clean and tidy. when getting change from local cafe make sure you ask for $1 & $2 coins as I'm not sure if the machines give change (couldn't find a sign indicating) and it was $5 a load and originally cafe only provided $2 coins so I went back and they happily provided $1 coins.

This is the first laundry I've ever been to that didn't have a change machine. Seems that the local businesses aren't too happy being constantly asked for change, with some having signs up to pre-empt the question. Fair enough when you need ten $1 coins to run two loads. I had to drive down the road to a service station after being rejected by several local businesses. Also, the washing machines don't have a timer on them so it's hard to know when you should return if you don't want to hang around and watch your clothes the whole time.

Well this place was a waste of time, no coin machine for change but you can try you luck down the road if they open. One machine out of order but the other machines just full of mud, I mean mud, I would have hated to see how the clothes looked. The place was dirty and it was very clear it had not been cleaned. Left with out using.

Small machines $5 bigger machine $8, driers $1 for 5 minsHad lots of washing so ended up using 3 small machines (so clothes would still wash), clothes came out dirtier or just not cleaned at all. Drier ate my money and another one just said error when i put money in, took all my clothes out and then processed the money... Only 5 driers and 1 of them is out of order, same with washing machines, and they were all occupied.Ended up having to spend over $30 with washers and then getting clothes dry... And they didn't even get clean in the forst place and i will have to go to another laundromat now to clean clothes.Not enough machines for the amount of people that came inA bit disappointed cause it seemed very homely when i walked in...

Super handy for us on the road. Bit pricey though 8 bucks a wash or dry
