I did the stroke correction, advanced classes and ocean confidence course with Salty Fit. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The organisation of lessons is great and their communication is excellent. Jo is an absolutely amazing swim instructor. She is supportive, encouraging and extremely clear in her instruction. I have loved every single session with Salty Fit!

Jo breaks up the steps in a fun and easy way to teach you how to swim. I came to Jo as a total beginner with trauma as I almost drowned in a waterfall in Bali three years ago. I am now learning how to swim in the ocean so I can swim with the dolphins and whales.I will recommend Salty Fit to anyone who wants to become confident swimming in the pool or the ocean as I know that Jo and the Salty Fit Team will help you no matter what your level is. Jo helped me as a total beginner. It is great fun swimming in the ocean and pool!

Great instructors and great class! As someone who has never really been taught freestyle, I wanted a chance to learn the techniques in an environment where I didn’t feel pressured to be a certain standard and could start from the absolute basics. The ‘build your stroke’ course did just that. Each week different elements were broken down into easy to understand drills that we could practice in our own time as well. The girls are so welcoming and great teachers, and made me feel at ease from day one! I was pretty nervous to start with, however after completing the course I feel so much more confident in the water and can actually do freestyle on my own! I highly recommend this course to anyone thinking about improving their stroke or wanting to start from the beginning. I will be telling all my friends to try it!!

I was terrified of big waves before joining Salty Fit ‘Face the waves’ intro course. Every session we learned about surf, wind, currents and we got to experience all of it and it was awesome! I never thought I can be facing big waves and feel totally confident, contend and actually feeling excited! Body surfing and diving under waves was a lot of fun. The Salty Fit team is knowledgeable, fun, great and supportive, I felt totally comfortable knowing I am learning and looked after by experienced team. I am definitely coming back for more!

Just completed the 4 week Build Your Style course and loved it. Jo is fantastic, so knowledgable and super engaging with everyone. I learned so many techniques and tips that will improve my swimming no end! Looking forward to practicing and joining the drop-in Advance Your Style sessions soon...

I did the Build Your Style stroke correction class and am very excited to progress to the next level. Jo has been an amazing instructor, always following up how on how we’re doing and addressing different concerns of each participants. I appreciate that the sessions have some theory part at the beginning which we then apply when we’re in the water. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement with my breathing and body positioning which would’ve been difficult learning on my own.

I had a great time with Salty Fit. Jo is an awesome instructor. Each week I learnt new skills which have definitely improved my swim stroke. I’d recommend Jo’s classed to any looking to improve their swimming.
