Dishonest, unreliable, broken furniture (with no reimbursement for damages).Duncan and his mate seemed friendly to our faces before & during the move, however that is where the positives end.- Quoted us an hourly rate for 3 removalists. Turned up with only 2 men, wanting to charge the same rate plus the additional time it took to move with one man down.- Snapped our solid wooden bed. They initially suggested that we repair it. They later agreed to pay a small sum towards replacement but the money has never come. Have contacted them multiple times over the past four weeks.- Booked for 9am, but the night before they called saying they’d arrive 12pm. We said ok to this, yet on the day they didn’t arrive until almost 2pm - the whole time texting saying “nearly there” while we sat around waiting for them.- Even though they were late, they were slow movers! Taking almost double the time another company took to move us only 18 months earlier (in another city), with the same amount of belongings. This slowness sadly did not equate to carefulness.- They tried to charge GST additional at the end of the job, when this was not part of the quote.Mover beware! This is our tenth move in the past decade and the worst experience I have had yet. Save yourself the stress if you have a lot on your plate.

I would highly recommend this company. They were very reliable and, the most corteous and polite removal company that I have dealt with. Major Move Removals were exceptionally good value for money and looked after our furniture & goods. We would definitely use them for any future moves.

I struck gold with these guys, I got caught out in the last few days before a move, and these boys came to the rescue. At short notice they delivered with every expectation, reliable and very respectful. I definitely won't be moving myself in the future, I have saved there number in my phone.
