Qscan Radiology Clinics

The receptionist who identified herself as Helen was unbelievably rude. She was undoubtedly having a bad day and should rethink her career choice if she’s unable to maintain a dignified and professional attitude towards Qscan’s patients. I made a polite request for access to information on Qscan’s billing for musculoskeletal ultrasounds and Helen couldn’t give me anything other than an attitude. I visited Qscan for a musculoskeletal ultrasound of my shoulder due to an injury, which is covered by Medicare. I was told Qscan does not bulk bill musculoskeletal ultrasounds and it was going to cost me $180.Needless to say, I went elsewhere. South Coast Radiology bulk bills musculoskeletal ultrasounds and their receptionists are amazing. I will never step foot inside Qscan again.

Rude receptionist and was told the ultrasound technician was on lunch when I had a time specific booking. Waited and waited.... Not impressed.

The facility is good and the person who did my x-ray was very friendly and efficient. However, the reception staff was rude and this facility does not bulk bill exams if you are on an interim (blue) Medicare card. It’s the first place I’ve ever gone that distinguishes between Medicare cards and I had to pay the full fee out of pocket because they don’t process private health insurance either (you have to claim it afterwards as they don’t have the machine to swipe the card). There are plenty of radiology places that accept blue Medicare cards and that process the gap with your private insurer on the spot, so save your money by going somewhere else!

When I walked into reception at the Robina clinic last Tuesday I was treated as if I was the most important person they’d seen all day.Then when I went through to be prepped the girl and the guy were so pleasant that I completely relaxed and almost fell asleep once I was lying down. The doctor was wonderful and kept up a running commentary of everything he did and what was going to happen next so I didn’t jump when the needles went in.It was the best thing that’s happened to me in years. I’ve got my life back and feel better than I have for as long as I can remember. I wasn’t even this good twenty years ago!Verna Shannan

My advice do not get ultra sound done at Qscan unless it must be ultra sound. Outlay cost is 80% of your out of pocket for a MRI

Went back for a second scan today. The lady who looked after me again is a true angel. So warm and professional. A true care giver. Wish I got her name to send her a thank you card.

VERY IMPRESSED!!!Go here if you have a wheelchair. The door is electronic and you go up a ramp straight away meaning no doors to push open or stairs!Which makes sense - many people coming to scan clinics have injuries.Parking is free and located opposite the scan clinic.Best of all, free tea and coffee for patients and their guests.Thank you QScan. For once the patients are put first.#wheelchairfriendly

Very helpful and friendly team. Mick in particular who did my scan was very friendly, was ready to do my procedure early, and gave helpful explanations along the way.

The radiology team were so comforting and lovely during a recent procedure. Lorraine is amazing. Dr Ngo is a wonderful clinician with a great manner and very informative. Would highly recommend

This is the ONLY place that I ever been too that doesn't accept an interim medicare card and was expecting me to pay for a service that should have been free & suggested I tried somewhere else instead. I don't think this particular site understands that the blue card have the same benefits as the normal card and other qscan sites I have been to have always accepted my medicare card with no question. I would love to hear why they don't accept it and also why their policy" is only applicable to the Robina yellow car park site as they are part of a bigger brand and should surely all follow the same policy?"
