Always nice. Clean, big rooms. Quiet, set back from road with river views. Bathrooms could be revamped. Hot shower and comfy bed.

Yes, definitely. The owner and staff are so polite and the rooms my 3 children and I had were great. The kids love the pool, being close to town and got along with pretty much everyone else who stayed here.

Very friendly, helpful staff who greeted us on our rather late arrival after a long drive.Room was a decent size, and was super clean! Aircon worked really well, and the shower was hot and pressure was good. Bed was soft and comfy. Great location right near the river, and close to town.

Very basic. Curtains and carpets could use a good shampoo! Shower head would not stay upright. 3 rocks disguised as beds in my room for 1 leaving barely space to shuffle about. TV had bad reception. Wifi dropped out continuously. Bedspreads really dated as was the rest of the room. Had to go to reception to request milk. Neighbours banging doors, shouting then, while clad only in underwear asked me for a smoke! Paid $149 for 1 night. If they'd charged $50 less I would say well, you get what you pay for but this? Not even ok and my expectations were pretty low anyway. Very poor form!

It's a typical old motel. However it's right in the river, which is beautiful, and it's set back well off the road with a lovely wide entry drive with impressive trees. It also has a pool and little BBQ area, although they're pretty basic.

We booked a family room for 2 nights. The whole row of rooms on the block were long term rentals. Walls were paper thin, we were kept up until 1.00am with people yelling and kids crying. We checked out after 1 night. The room was tiny, not enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very disappointed. I think holiday makers should be made aware that there are long term renters staying there.
