Julie Logan Music

My four-year-old has been attending Julie Logan Music since she was tiny and we would utterly recommend it to any child from babies to school-aged and beyond. Julie and her staff are highly qualified, fun, attentive and their passion for music is evident in every single class. I have truly loved watching my child grow in musicality since attending and look forward to seeing where the journey takes us in the future!

Julie Logan Music has been one of the best things I have done for my two girls. My eldest (now 9yrs) completed the music program and then went on to join Song Crew the following year. It has been the most amazing and beautiful thing to see her self confidence grow. She has gone from being a very shy little one to a beautifully confident 9 year old. My kindergarten girl absolutely loves her weekly music class too. All the teachers are so talented, nurturing and caring. Another great thing about it is, we have made lovely friends over our time with Julie Logan Music.

Our 3 children have attended Julie Logan Music and are now exploring instruments of their choice (violin, drums and piano). Their teachers often comment on how quickly they are picking up techniques and skills, and I have to reflect it back to Julie's program.They all loved attending the play driven music program for multiple years and have developed a greater love of music and confidence (amongst many other benefits) as a result.Thank you to all the teachers for your passion in music/teaching and genuine care for all your students and families.

Our children have been attending classes at Julie Logan music for three years now and it is the highlight of the week for both of them (and I really enjoy it too!). They have built so much confidence in class and have developed a true love of music. Their teachers exude energy and so much learning goes on but the kids just see it as fun. This music school was recommended to me and I would have no hesitation to recommend it to others.

My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together at Julie Logan Music. The classes were fun, interactive and catered for busy toddlers. We both made friends and loved learning new songs and seeing different instruments each week.

My daughter Penelope started with Julie Logan Music as a 6 month old baby, she is now 5 and about to start school. The music program is progressive and builds knowledge each week and year. Music skills build the foundation for literacy, and many of the skills attained in Julie's music classes are transferable to school. Sitting, listening, comprehension, co-operative play, are all skills learned in Julie's classes. My daughter has grown in confidence tremendously as a result of Julie Logan music. She also has a great sense of rhythm, and I often find her singing to herself! She is also doing very well at ballet, and I am certain that this is because of all of her music classes. We are looking forward to many more years with Julie Logan and her inspirational music classes.

I'm so happy my friend recommended Julie Logan Music to us! My toddler and my preschooler have both tremendously enjoyed their music sessions over the last two years! The French teacher in me has also been relishing not only the structured musical fun and games, but also the knowledge that the skills my children have gained through singing and appreciating music have also helped their language acquisition and cognitive skills.

Our daughter has been attending Julie Logan Music (aka Do Re Mi!) since she was 6 months old. We have no doubt it has contributed immensely to not only her love of music, but a love of learning more generally. She is now about to turn 9 (whaaat?!) and still gets to enjoy Julie’s tutelage by being a member of the wonderful Song Crew choir. Highly recommend this wonderful Newcastle institution.

We recently had Julie Logan Music at our Young Parents Group and it was fantastic to see the delight, focus and engagement of the children and young parents. This is a great program that supports positive development and socialisation for children.
