Imaging Morayfield

I find it hard to believe that anyone could complain about the staff. They are excellent, cheerful, friendly and extremely helpful. I wouldn't put much credence on comments contrary to that. Thanks and have a good day

On my recent visit to Morayfield imaging for a shoulder scan I was met by my sonographer with a friendly welcome and during my appointment I was treated with respect and empathy. the scan was thorough and professionally done with much better attention to detail and working knowledge of the shoulder than larger imaging companies I have been to for scans in the past. Will definitely be coming back.

Rude staff. Make you wait ages if you have an appointment and get there on time but claim they can’t see you if you’re 5 minutes late. Disgusting. To top it off all staff were laughing about it afterwards cos when we went back in to grab the referral back off them you could hear them.

Rude ultrasound technician. She was aware I was getting a pelvic ultrasound due to a miscarriage & she was rude straight away saying if I’m drinking water now there’s no point because it won’t show up on the scan (even though I wanted a sip of water). She was argumentative & showed no care whatsoever. She was also really rough & didn’t talk through the ultrasound about the photos she was taking. Extremely unprofessional & disappointing especially knowing she was confirming a miscarriage.

I have attended this service a few times. Staff from front reception through to having procedures have been lovely, chatty and friendly, making me feel at ease with the process of things. Today whilst in the waiting room I even witnessed a staff member go out of their way to help an elderly patient to read a document instead of client needing to go back to their car to get their glasses. Now that's service.

Pregnancy is meant to be a wonderful journey that both parties feel connected to and cherish. However, we visited Morayfield Imaging today and did not enjoy the journey at all. The receptionist was friendly and answered a question I had best they could. The issue was with the imaging consultation itself; the person was not engaging with us at all, they just give us the facts and short answers to questions we had, and it felt like we were just a job to them to get through. My partner realized this and just kept quite throughout the scan. We now have to schedule a new appointment with another imaging centre just because we do not feel the excitement what comes with being pregnant after this visit (We were super excited going in). In saying this I guess they did there job…
