Breakfast is always great here. The chef's know what they're doing. Service depends on what time of day, and how busy the place is. Generally though they're okay.To the owners: I'd recommend getting the council to pay for leveling out the outside area or making the investment yourselves. The most frustrating thing as a customer is trying to eat outside and all the seating is on uneven ground, making the tables rock around.I like that there was plenty of shade though!

I went to Tusk a while ago, but considering the theme of recent reviews I feel I need to share my story. The food was nice and the coffee was fine, but I witnessed an abuse of power whilst there I will share. About halfway through the meal my companion and I saw and heard the owner abusing some poor server on the public footpath in the busiest area of the restaurant at the time. The food tasted fine, but I will not support an owner who refuses to treat his employees, those who butter his bread, with the respect they deserve. Particularly as it seemed that this young lady was probably new to the workforce and so may not have expected such an egregious abuse of power from the person she is employed by in what she probably thought was good faith.Will not dine again.

This used to be my favourite cafe, something's changed. Paid $5.50 for a latte about a quarter way filled to the top because they ran out of small coffee cups. But how is 4 sips a small coffee? Rip off.

I had an amazing experience at Tusk cafe! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was delicious, and I would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Five stars!

I had a really nice breakfast around 9-10 am on Wednesday. They have a beautiful design space and it’s so beautiful outside and inside.I ordered crispy corn cakes with poached eggs, bacon, tomato relish and smashed avo and oat cappuccino.The dish looked amazing and tasted even better than I imagined.Corn cakes were really crispy and I fell in love with their tomato relish.Coffees there is so good.Thanks for hospitality.

Had a quick impromptu lunch at Tusk today, it drew me in with its eclectic and quirky mix of furnishings and decor. Quiet, comfortable and has a great feel. Service was fantastic, and I had a Parma and coffee, and must say that it was one of the best parmas I’ve had. I mentioned this as I was leaving and found out that they had ranked I think it was number 10 on the best parmas of Melbourne list! Great little lunch experience that I felt needed to be shared as there are many, many dining options on Chapel street but this has been top notch!

Real definition of cafe. I live everything about it! The food are jusssstt yummity YUMMM. The coffe is great. Love the ambience sitting outside in the morning at Prahran. The scrambled egg I reckon was an omelette being cut in pieces, and sooo effing good! Truly recommend!

If you're looking for a good spot to people watch while enjoying a leisurely brunch, Tusk is a great choice. The food is noteworthy, though you will need to wait a bit to get it. The service is very polite, and the atmosphere is casual yet chic.

Good food and even better service!!! My first time here and Chef Cory and his team made my work break delightful with a delicious parma and tasty coffee. Nice food, nice vibe, nice people - 10/10 will be back again!
