Found a well priced bmw R18 transcontinental on bike sales, after a phone call to Aiden at blacklocks I decided to bite the bullet and buy unseen and never having ridden an r18 before (im in wa). Whilst I was very nervous I needn't have been.Jumped on a pane and a train, Aiden picked me up from the station and upon arrival at blacklots was greeted with a great cup of coffee. Paperwork signed with no fuss, Aiden even organised a permit to move for me to ride bike back to wa at no cost to me. Asked if they could fit some electrical wiring to the bike and off the bike went into the workshop for a while to have sorted. Everything done it was time to ride off having had great service from Aiden and Blake. Truly recommend these guys, I'll even check what they have and fly over and ride home again with full trust in them as was a great ride back across the country. They also have a great range of motorcycles to choose from different brands. Once home I got a call from Aiden to ensure I had made it home to Perth and gain feedback about the bike. The little things make a difference and these guys had it all covered. As for the R18 once I pulled away I started thinking what have I done buying this unwieldy Beast. Needn't have worried as the more I rode the more the bike came together with me. Sure it's heavy and isn't the easiest to manoeuvre slowly but after a 4000klm ride over 3.5 days I can say this bike was a great purchase. If you intend on test riding one of these I would try and organise a long test as going round the block will not be long enough to come to grips with this motorcycle. I'm glad everything panned out the way it did for me as I would never have purchased it had I just went round the block on it.ProsRadar cruise was great and used a lot.Super comfy with lots of room to change positions around.Great lights at night.Lovely characteristics from the lump of a motor.Deep burble at idle and acceleration but quietens when cruising. Doesn't need an aftermarket exhaust.Stereo is fantastic and got a hammering on trip home.Beautiful machine.Fantastic build quality and thought has gone into the engineering.Key less start and central locking make life easy.Has a reverse gear, was a godsend the couple of times I needed to use it.Superb TFT screen.Heated grips and seat do what they are meant to, never had them above 3 (5 levels).Wind protection is good.Adjustable wind deflectors surprised me how well they worked.Great handling once moving.A true mile muncher and deserving of the transcontinental badge.Rode 4000klms in 3.5 days and never missed a beat. Not many bikes could leave me feeling as good as I did after that many hours in the saddle.ConsNo Apple carplay or Android auto, this is a miss by BMW. For me just not being able to use waze which is my gps of choice. In saying that I used the bmw fitted gps and never let me down all the way across the country. No electricly adjustable windscreen, my r1200rt has it. Not a deal breaker though as said above protection is good.Heavy bike and took a bit of getting used to when carrying out slow turns, after a couple of days on bike this is no longer an issue. All said and done great service, great machine and a great ride across Australia, should be on every motorcyclists bucket list for sure, I'm already planning another cross country jaunt over more time I enjoyed it that much.If your after a bike gives these guys a go, I'm certainly not regretting it.

I recently purchased a used Honda motorcycle (I was interstate & couldn't view the bike in person) from Blacklocks and was very pleased with the the customer service. Blake (in sales) was fantastic to deal with and went the extra mile to make the entire purchase process smooth & hassle free. I would highly recommend & happily buy a bike from you again. Thanks Blake!

Blake was fantastic to deal with and made buying from Blacklocks very easy. As interstate customers we were hesistant with making a purchase without first sighting it. They organised everything in a timely manner including very quick delivery up to QLD. Communication back and forth was excellent which helped keep our minds at ease. Needless to say the bike arrived in one piece and was exactly as advertised. Would recommend!

Don’t go near this shop. Ridiculously over priced repair work and very slow. Brought our Honda pioneer in for a repair job. Quoted 10 hours to repair at 100 dollars an hour and the parts price was 10 times more expensive than what we found online. Ended up doing the job ourselves, cost us 300 dollars for the part and an hours work, compared to a quote that was 5000 dollars.
