This is an outstanding memorial to all of those lost in this sinking. You can't help but get a lump in your throat as you read the names and information. Congratulations to those involved in this construction. Fabulous views, nice gardens and excellent amenities. Lest we forget.

Great view, shows a great display of history and unique looking memorabilia, very clean environment and feels like a lot of effort was put into the memorial to show the respect of thoes who were lost. Recommend to visit if if the town of Geraldton.

HMAS Sydney II Memorial
This was the pinnacle of our visit to Geralton! TAKE THE TOUR! Trevor was our guide & he was fantastic! SO passionate about the memorial. We learnt so much!! The woman story sends goose bumps over you. There are so many important features factored into the build, it needs to be pointed out. Definitely worth a visit, and, revisit at sunset for an eerie special ambience.

A wonderful memorial to the brave adults who lost their lives. I suggest a sunset visit. Tranquil, beautifully designed memorial.

A must see, the grounds and memorial are something else,plenty of parking and public toilets.There's a guided tour from 10:30 or just walk around yourself, but please leave a donation for the volunteers they do a great job

A must visit site. Quite busy when we arrived. Carpark crowded. Plenty of volunteer guides with parties (and bursts of applause).When I got back to Perth and said I had been to Geraldton, the first question was always, Did you visit the memorial?""
