Diamond Valley Smash Repairs

I have a Toyota 86 in for repair and it has been over 1 month since it went into the repair shop, no phone calls on their behalf to update me which resulted in me taking time off work and numerous phone calls to get nothing but lies, they initially told me that they were going to replace the side skirts on the car with new parts, today being a Tuesday I went in because they told me the car would be ready, and while there I noticed they were repairing them instead, after questioning this I asked to look at the new parts they told me that they are still replacing new parts and they are still waiting on delivery, with a repair date being Thursday, I actually got possession of the old parts which were sprayed with primer and have taken them home and all of a sudden they changed their minds as to when the repair date would be and as it stands it will be next Wednesday, this confirms in my mind that they were going to fix my car with damaged parts and claim that they were new. I have never been to one of these places but after this experience I would not be choosing them ever again.Absolutely shocking and shameful representation of the Auto repair busness

I was very happy with my car repairs, they were very helpful and polite, explained all that was done to my car. They washed my car too which was pretty nice. I will highly recommend Diamond Valley Smash Repairs to all my friends.

Horrible service. Insurance told me to go there since it was the closest to where I live and from the get-go, the staff were extremely rude, acting as if my business was an inconvenience. Needed my bumper replaced after rear end accident, colour was extremely off, took almost a whole month after being quoted 2 weeks and then took off with my rear lip, stating they're on back order

Seriously the worst.I had a car sent here years ago which was written off and towed to the wreckers without my being notified. I wasn’t even given an opportunity to collect my personal belongings from the vehicle.My husband had a car repaired here shortly after and received it back with nothing but problems.I currently have a car in there which I was reluctant to send but a friend of mine works there and assured me they’d take care of me. I was advised 5 days ago that it was going to be a write off.This morning I called the insurance company who advised they are yet to receive a report from the repairer and couldn’t help me with any information at this time.I’ve tried calling them and after being on hold for close to 10 minutes, someone finally answers the phone.I’m not sure if “Maurie” is a manager or owner or what but he has ZERO customer service skills. Doesn’t even answer the phone with his name or “how can I help you”I asked what was happening with my car, and admiringly I went in on the offense. Got cut off by Maurie with “are you gonna let me say something?” To which I replied “when I’ve finished giving you my enquiry”Was then told to call my mate on his private mobile and hung up on.I’m currently paying for a rental I can’t afford.Insurance company can’t tell me what I might get paid out until they hear from the smash repairer.I probably need to start looking for a new car but I don’t know what my budget is.And this place continuously proves that it’s disorganised, unprofessional and not trust worthy.The insurance company even tried calling them and was told that their systems were down & to call back later.Lie after lie after lie giving everyone the run-around.If you’re insurer allocates your vehicle here after an accident, REFUSE!!!

Abigail Smith, I cannot agree more with you.Although it is the nearest smash shop that my insurance company would suggest, I would never go with them again.My car has been with them for 1 month +, while I initially was told it would take 2~3 weeks; Every time I called them, similar impolite response without any regret. They just randomly give you an estimation apparently come from heel when you ask.Couldn't believe a smash shop with such service can survive nowadays.More people please review, help them go better, or go somewhere else.

Got my car fixed here about a year ago & theres still glass that flicks out from my vents. They took way longer then they should have, reason was they were claiming to replace my front dash because of scratches.. got the car back & there were scratches on my dash so they definitely didn't replace it. Service was horrible & they never gave me a time when it would be ready. They also spray painted white paint on the black details of my car at the front. All my belongings that were in my car were no longer there afterwards (lost my favourite leather jacket). RACV sent my car here so PLEASE don't go here, I beg you.

The gentleman who initially assessed my car was abrupt and condescending. Although I had an appointment booked it seemed as though I was inconveniencing him as he huffed and puffed whilst taking photos of my vehicle.I was told it would take 5 days to fix. After hearing nothing I gave them a call to see when I could pick it up. I was told 2 more days and to ring again to see what time I could pick it up. When the 2 days had passed I called, but was told the exact same things were still waiting to be done. A simple apology would have been appreciated as I had already gone more than a week without working as I need my car to get to different job sites around Melbourne. Sometimes simple manners makes all the difference.

Very disappointed - car has sat in their shop for a fortnight and still NO final assessment despite assurances that it will be done tomorrow. Never once have they rung to provide an update. Costing me a fortune in rental cars waiting. Always a promise of tomorrow mate we'll let you know for sure".My advice - look elsewhere."

My insurance company suggested this smash shop because it is nearest to my home.The guy who inspected my car told me it would take only 2 days to fix. After waiting for a whole week with no contact from them, I rang the shop and was told that he was on leave and he will ring me back the next day.When I finally get a hold of him he said he will ring me back in 5 minutes but he didn't.I called my insurance to explain the situation and have them contact on my behalf. The day after the guy called me and asked me to bring my car in the next day at 12 o'clock then he quickly changed the time to 1 o'clock. When I brought my car in he had no recollection of the appointment date and thought it was a later date. Very unorganised.Before I left my car there I had to make sure that my car is ready in half an hour as promised but the he had a change of mind and now says to pick up my car in 2 hours.I would NEVER recommend my family or my friends to go to this smash shop.

I would say Diamond Valley Smash repair as one of the best company to deal with. From the beginning they are very reliable and trustworthy. Kept me informed of everything happening around. Finished everything in less than a week and my car now looks brand new.
