Hertz Car Rental - Hobart Downtown HLE

Absolutely amazing service from the AutoRent Hertz team! Throughout my trip, I had some small issues but I received amazing help from staff members named Andrew and Kevin. The amount of effort and care they took in ensuring my issues were resolved turned what could have been a bad experience into one where I could resume my holiday with no issues.Andrew also made the effort to reach out post the holiday and ensure everything was fine and that I enjoyed my trip.This was the first time I've ever used a camper van and it was one of the best holidays ever! Will definitely return when I can to use their services again.Would highly recommend anyone to use their services when visiting Tasmania!!!

Super disappointed that the pre-authorisation made in the beginning of my rental period is still frozen on my credit card until now, a month after i returned the car. Don’t trust these guys. They’ll steal your money.

The staff here are fantastic - our check-in lady was chatty and friendly. The process was quick and easy and payment came off my card, without any surprise fees, a day later. Great company, nice range of cars and the staff really made it. Even though we only hired the car for two days, the whole experience made it great. Thank you!

This is a super friendly staff who made sure that my family and my friends family is taken care of when we reached almost at the time of closing.She patiently fixed the car seat to rear facing for my baby that took lot of time.Thank you Tayla for your services and making our 1st day of the year so smooth and stress free! I rang another company and hertz about a moving truck rental. Both were very polite and helpful. The hertz employee was actually the only one I could understand. The other company employee had an accent I couldn't make head or tail of.

I wish you could give no stars. The people that work here are so bad, very uninterested and could care less about customer service. they charged my card the wrong amount and then basically just shrugged their shoulders. I spent 2 hours on the phone to the head office trying to sort it out and the best they could do is open an investigation and say they will get back to me.I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are soooooooo bad.

I called Hertz Hobart to talk to someoneabout an issue I was having. A lady named Kim gave me a solution but then as I was going to ask another question ( already speaking ) she said “ ok byee “ and ended the call. Clearly I was still speaking to her and told her to wait and stop before she hung up when she said bye but still proceeded to. I called back and told KIM I was not done and that she hung up on me before, advised Kim I’d be taking it further as I work in customer service and that was dumb what she’s done to a Customer. Kim has previously complaints in this feedback section from her customer experience. My family and I Will be swapped from these guys to another hire car company from now

They might charge you for damage you didn't caused. Keep in mind while giving them deposit because they never returned mine, giving me incident report the next day of returning the car.
