My move with Allied was hassle-free. Their staff communicated well and nothing was too much trouble. I was sent packing boxes well in advance of my move, they were punctual, and care was taken with all my precious things and with my home. Can recommend highly.

We used their packing service. Although one person packed carefully the other two men just threw our property in the boxes with no thought or care. A lot of items were damaged. I do not recommend Allied packing your items.With respects to moving our items, they didn’t cover our large items so fabric couches had to get dry cleaned, mattresses cleaned and our leather couch is forever stained. There was also scratches on some furniture.Boxes were put in random rooms or in the garage, despite clear and logical labeling.I can only assume at this time we did not get “Careful Removalist” but got a couple who didn’t care and just needed a job. However I can’t vouch for all Allier’s staff, just 2/3 who helped us move.

The team who helped us with our move were so fantastically helpful. He Adam, the manager, who made us feel like the most important client (impressive when you are dealing with hundreds of moves) and was attentive to every need and small detail. The guys who did the moving were kind, respectful and to put it simply, really nice people to have around for the move. What a great set of people, and obviously a really well managed and organised company. We would use and recommend this company again.

I can’t even express in writing how AMAZING these guys are. We are so grateful to have had the team from Allied move us. From the initial quote right through to moving day everything was perfectly executed.100% recommended if you want to move with no dramas!

Hi everyoneWe used Allied Pickfords Geelong for removal, packing and storage of antique furniture. Some furniture stored by them for eleven years. On return three pieces were badly damaged. Tried contacting them on three occasions but they have not replied to our calls. Extremely disappointing. Little care and no responsibility. Very unprofessional.

Damage to departing property and to our new built home. Damage to furniture and whitegoods. Damage to water supply pipe and water meter due to truck driving off the driveway and cutting off water supply to the house. Regional Manager will not take or return my calls. Unable to move into our new home until repairs to water supply carried out. Paid top price thinking we were using a reputable company. How wrong we were. Do not even think about using this company.

In September 2021, I paid for shipment of all contents from Melbourne to New Delhi. On the day of the pick up only part of my contents were collected and I was advised that need to be re-quoted.I never agree for part of my contents to be shipped and collected. My contents should have never been picked by your crew member and I should have been re-quoted first.In early October 2021, your staff and I agreed that $440 would be deducted and I refunded the balance and my goods would be returned to Melbourne.I kept chasing the refund until late December 2021 and then I was advised that part of my contents have been shipped to New Delhi without my knowledge and any agreement.I have asked your staff for a Bill of Lading and complaints team contact number several times but I haven’t received any response.Before Christmas I spoke with Michael and after consulting with Elizabeth they agreed to ship the leftover over contents at no cost because of your mess up.Firstly, I had to pay extra for 3 months of storage fees in Coburg, Victoria as you guys shipped half of contents to India without my knowledge. You guys should bare and pay for this 3 months of storage fees as you guys messed up.Now as the part of my shipped has arrived in India, your partners in India are asking for another AUD 1000 fees for custom clearance. I am not liable for any of these custom fees or late fees if I my stuff is stored with Indian customs for no matter how long. Please see attached several correspondence from your colleague Kate Russell that i was quoted for door to door service and there would be no further charges.Now it’s all up to you guys to take as long to get the stuff cleared from customs. Also, I now seek for you guys to pay me for those 3 months of storage fees which I paid because of your mess up.Further, I have just been advised by their agents in India that as I am still expecting part of my shipment there would be TR charges by the Indian customs on that shipment. Once again I refuse to bare these charges because of your mess up as you shipped part of my contents in the first place with my knowledge or consent.I am highly disappointed with the service I have received from your company. It’s been over a week that I have not received any response from Michael or this team situated in Melbourne.

From my quote until move in day the team were responsive. But I couldn’t be more thankful for the service the team provided on the day of my move. The guys were incredibly professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this service.

I am soo glad that I choose Allied Pickford movers for my move.  They were extremely professional.  Adam, the manager, came home, checked what items are there before providing a quote, unlike other companies who gave quote via phone.  The quote was less that the hourly rate quoted by others.  He came again to deliver boxes for the move.  This already saved me a few hundred $$s.  Amy, was very friendly.  All the four guys (Rafeal, Joel, Daniel and Mako) who came to help move ce on time, were friendly, extremely good, very patience, very polite, extremely careful, sooo professional.  Very impressed with their work.  Anytime will recommend them.
