One guy was very good and then there was another who wasn't interested in providing me the size and info of the stuff I was looking at, I was ignored, probably cos of my skin colour. But who cares. If not for my 4 years old son who wanted the stuff, I would have just walked out..

Fantastic to be back at a place I used to frequent in the 80's its now so modern and well laid out I was impressed to say the least at just how amazing its become, such a world wide name known in the far corners of the globe for such fine equipment and clothing, to think it started in the late 60's from such humble beginnings is a credit to the owners and management team and the surfers that have put Rip Curl on the global map

Huge Surf Shop amongst other Major Surf Shops. Definitely must visit complex. But, no bargains on the day we visited.

It's the best Rip Curl shop I have ever been. I really liked the decoration of the shop, in particular the sealing and the old boards displayed on the wall.Staff were friendly and welcoming too.

Do not buy a RipCurl wetsuit. I splashed $650 on a flashbomb a month ago. Within 3 surfs it was falling apart. It took them two weeks to repair it and after one surf it was falling apart again.Bloody terrible quality.Go to needs essentials or O'Neill.

Went to purchase a hat that had been labelled at the clearance price, when charged the full retail & queried the price on the hat I was told the labelled price would not be honoured by the (I assume) duty manager. I have worked in retail for over 25 years & if an item is physically labelled a certain price you honour that price...different story if the item was in the clearance 'bin' by mistake & not labelled. Lady that served me initially was polite & engaging hence the 3 stars & not lower

Great shop, with a huge selection of casual wear, swimmers & beach wear, and more high-end/pro gear. Staff are extremely customer-oriented & helpful without being overbearing. This Torquay institution is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area, as long as you're not expecting the little surf shop down the road"."
