I completely understand that service and retail life is different with the current lockdowns in sydney, but when I came in knowing I wanted 1 of 2 helmets and willing to spend 600+, I was met with frantic and cold service saying I had to leave within 10 minutes and I was only supposed to be in if I knew what I wanted. While I appreciate the attention to covid awareness, my experience seemed a bit harsh as I did know what I wanted, and a helmet for me is considered personal protective equipment for my work, I just simply needed to put the two different helmets on my head to see which fit I preferred… I left feeling like my business was not wanted and did not buy anything. I immediately called Richmond horseland who seemed much more warm and welcome to me being able to try on the two fits before deciding on my purchase, they told me that since I did come in with a purpose other than browsing and that it is equipment required for what is considered essential work that they was no issues. so I went straight there for a much more pleasant shopping experience in a time when we’re all trying to adjust to a new normal.

The ladies who serviced us were very friendly, excellent and knowledgeable. Thanks for your help!

These people are uneducated and discriminate against people with a medical clearance in hand exempting me from being able to wear a mask I have a medical condition where I suffer serious anxiety if my nasal area is restricted or covered they told me to just get out my opinion of this store is to let people know that this business discriminates against physically or mentally disadvantaged amongst us DO NO SUPPORT THIS BEHAVIOUR IT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS thank you

The two women who work in this store are extremely rude. Ive been to this store twice with my wife and the staff are consistently abrupt and condescending. I caught one speaking disparagingly about my wife while in a different part of the store. Go to Richmond Horseland, they are far more pleasant and helpful there.

I’ve been here a number of times over the years and the owner who often works there, is lovely. My other interactions with staff have been great. I know there have been some recent bad reviews about staff being unpleasant but I went in there today and they were lovely….so maybe the unpleasant staff member is gone? Prices are all very reasonable for equine gear, there’s a good selection of stock and the change rooms in the back are done up like a rural barn, in a very cute way. As of late May ‘22 they are still requiring customers to wear masks again Covid-19. There is parking in front of the store but also some extra around the back.

The most amazing place to get things for your horse. Great quality saddles, bridles, halters, etc. Wouldn't shop anywhere else. Nice and local for the Hills District. Great staff. A+++++

here you can find everything for you and for your horse! there're a lot of different brands for every level and price. The staff is so kind, friendly and professional, they have a lot of personal experience so they can reply at all your questions.the best absolutely!

Most of the time my experience here has been good, most of the girls are really friendly and welcoming. Though I went in yesterday to purchase a few things and ended up walking out with nothing due to the appalling customer service I received. The woman serving me made it seem all too difficult and was not the slightest bit interested, mid way through helping me someone she knew walked in and she completely just turned her back and was so happy and chatty to her friend and left me, so I just walked out as I can’t stand bad costumer service especially since I was willing to spend a decent amount. It was really disappointing. But usually the women who work here a lovely.
