Asked a question. 9 am Got told that they get back to me. Rang back at 1pm and told every one gone to lunch. So they get back to me. After. And that was Tuesday. Nothing from them still. Thursday.

Amarok went in for a recall to have starter motor replacement. They could not get the sump guard back on so took that home in the back.( Took about 15 minutes to fit with car on ramps in shed) Car was parked up once we got home, tried to start some days later, nothing. Lights all worked and glow plug light flashing after attempting start. Was told by City Motors to get my roadside assistance to look at the car. Did that and was told the battery is fine most likely something City Motors did to starter. City Motors said that they would look at it if I got the vehicle transported into them. I told them I believe they should transport the car, was told they would call me back by end of the day. Called them back 24 hours later as no return call was made by them. Told them I Got in touch with my old mechanic in the meantime and he suggested to check the engine earth. Found earth to be loose and tightened. Problem solved. I believe if I did not fix the car myself I would still be waiting on them. I rate the workmanship poor and their service near nonexistent. Would never recommend them.

Stay away! Drive to Townsville or Rockhampton to service your car.
