Peter was such a pleasure to deal with, he was very accommodating and made everything easy and simple. The staff were fantastic. The venue was perfect for our wedding reception in April. The food was delicious, we received many compliments from our guests and the room very nicely arranged. It's a lovely period building with a pretty courtyard. Just lovely, highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception here in February!Peter was exceptional in every way! He made sure to attend to all our needs and made planning sooo easy!He was also very understanding of last minute changes and made sure everything was in place.We had a lot of dietary requirements on the night and all were catered for! The food was presented immaculately! We had so many compliments about how organised and beautiful the reception was.Thank you Peter for the perfect wedding reception! We would recommend this wedding venue to everyone!

An elegant period home that has been turned into a reception venue. It's directly across the road from Chadstone Shopping Centre, so a very busy area and although there is some limited off street parking, unless you are early, you'll have to find a spot in the surrounding residential streets. Merrimu has 2 function rooms with seperate adjacent entrances. The older part of the original building and the newer, larger ballroom area. The venue is lovely inside and out and is very well maintained. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the food we had was delicious restaurant quality.

I can not thank and speak more highly of Nikki from Merrimu Receptions. She was extremely attentive to our requests, and displayed fantastic service in organising our wedding. She took the pressure of us, which put us at ease. The venue itself it just stunning. We received so much compliments about how good the food is as well as the coffee. I would highly recommend this venue for your next event or function. I loved having my wedding here.
