Went to this mechanic for my car, as it was not working properly, they couldn't tell me what was wrong with it, very vague in answering my questions. Once it became clear to them that I was unhappy and questioned their service, they became extremely rude and condescending. Charged me for a service they essentially did not provide, and I took home a still broken car. All in all, the service is rude and they are way overpriced. Ended up taking it somewhere else and they charged me half of what Blue Mountains Motor Industries would have. A mechanic should value their customers as they are the ones paying them for a service provided, being rude, not providing a proper service and still charging a fee...unacceptable.In regards, to their reply...it is true I chose to take it somewhere else, but only after the vague answers I received, they did not inform me it was the knock sensor until it became clear to them I was going to go somewhere else if they continued to be so vague and uncertain, at which point suddenly it was the knock sensor for sure. However at that point due to the vagueness and the condescending nature I was dealt with after I questioned what was wrong with the car, I chose to take it somewhere else. When I went to pick up the car, the person who took my payment and returned the keys was extremely rude. Barely spoke two words and did not make eye contact with me once. I guess they did not like loosing business, which is understandable, but I would suggest in that case they should be gracious and polite, regardless.

I had a brake emergency over 3 hours from home. This was the closest mechanic, so that’s where I went. They listened to me and helped me get back on the road within 2 hours. In this time they checked my car, ordered and installed brake disc rotors and brakes. They had a full garage of jobs and still managed to help me get back on the road, and home, safely. 10/10

I had a cooling system issue with my SS commodore. Tim got me sorted in good time for a fair price. He was happy to provide advice on other issues, so I definitely recommend these guys.

Excellent service experienced today at Blue Mountains Auto. Dropped my car off and they kindly dropped me back home. When the car was ready they came and picked me up and dropped me back so I could get my car. Really appreciate good old fashioned service and a smile. Car is purring again too! Thanks to Tim and Co. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service from Blue Mountains Motor Industries. I was coming home in the train and Tim called to say the car was fixed. He is positively psychic! He picked me up from the station. The drop off and pick up client service is wonderful. More than that though the car is in excellent condition. They are diligent and professional.

I was recently purchasing a used car, and noticed that this mechanic had worked on it a few times, I called them up and asked if they could check their last invoice if anything of concern was noted, the owner took the time to look through their records and advise me on what they found which is a very kind and generous thing of them to do. Sounds like a good mechanic to me!
