I don’t want to leave a bad review but our visit wasn’t good. There were 10 of us , and some with seafood allergies, so we split our table in half for orders. We ordered a few tapas to start, and then paella.We ordered 2 different size paella for each end of the table . One recommended for 2 people, one for 4 people. The smaller paella had lots of seafood including many prawns. The larger , had mostly rice and 2 sad prawns languishing on the top, mind you, for 4 people. When we questioned, they brought out 2 prawns on a plate. 2 tapas were not available , and both wines we chose, were also not available . The food was good, but looking at those 2 paella at $60 and $120 it appeared that the larger one was just rice with barely any seafood compared to the smaller one which was heaped full of seafood. And then to just be offered 2 prawns on a plate? Not good. I don’t know how the larger paella ( for 4 people as per the menu) could go out with 2 prawns on top… how could that be considered a dish for 4 people?

Fantastic authentic Spanish food! My favourite seafood paella to date. I'm from Spain and it reminded me of home. The owner was incredibly lovely and knowledgeable on Spanish cuisine. A must go if you pass through Moss Vale, we'll certainly be back.

Had fantastic lunch at this wonderful restaurant hidden away in Moss Vale! Gracious Angelo greeted us and the food was delicious, tapas of prawns and calamari followed by the best chicken and vegetable Paella - best we ever had! And we met chef Ian who advised us about what to do with leftover Paella as too much to eat! Ambience superb! Highly recommended! Elaine & Dot ❤️❤️

We just enjoyed a lovely dinner at Carca Restobar and would highly recommend it to any visitors (like us) to the Southern Highlands. We had the Fried potatoes and the calamari as tapas to start with and they were both excellent. We then shared the Seafood paella which was delicious and left us very full! Add in the Sangria and it really was a great Spanish experience. Would love to go back if we are down this way again. Thank you for having us!

Great to discover this hidden gem.While travelling through the Southern Highlands, we had a brief stop for late night dessert to stretch our legs.Visited at the Spanish restaurant we've never been to, but their Google reviews seemed good.Twinkling lights invited us. The decor was welcoming. The owner was very friendly.Dessert menu looked enticing. The recipe is from his family and his trip in a small Spanish town. We love the history and the moment.The wine from the country concluded the whole experience.We wish we could've tried their Paella and tapas. We'll definitely come back with empty stomachs.

Absolutely beautiful experience for me and my family, especially my son who LOVED the Flamenco Dancing performance we were lucky enough to see the night we were there!! The service was so lovely, the food was DELICIOUS and very authentic. Wonderful restaurant.

Fabulous food & excellent service. We've eaten here a number of times while visiting Moss Vale.All of the tapas is fresh & full of flavour, the calamari is a standout. I'll be back to try all the flavours of paella, highly recommend the seafood so far! Great wine suggestions from the lovely owner.

I've been a couple of times now and the food and service is excellent. The seafood is very fresh, the calamari cooked to perfection and the paella a great sharing dish. The owner also gave a great wine suggestion that went well with the meal.

Great Spanish food experience! The warm environment can feel the authentic food passed down by the family. Much better than the seafood risotto in the market! I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's mother's dessert recipe
