Zink the element of hair

This was my first visit as a new client, and I loved everything about my experience at Zinc. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and made you feel special.All were efficient, explained everything, offered new suggestions for me and my hair....it was great!

I’ve been coming to zink unley since I was 16! From my year 11 formal to my wedding they have styled and coloured my hair for the last 10+ years. I can always trust them to with my hair no matter the occasion. They are the best in the business!! The friendly faces and catch ups are also a bonus!

I usually go to Zink Brighton but they were booked out.Zink Unley charged me almost $500 for the same service I get at Zink Brighton for $360.Worse still, my online quote from them was $370 and at no point did the stylist discuss during the appointment that the price would be much more.I sent an email to the salon expressing my disappointment that it was not discussed with me prior to starting on my hair & I was sprung with the bill at the till, which was met by an email full of excuses from the director Jo Cotronio as to why it cost so much.Even though I had explained in my initial email that everything I had done I have had done before at Brighton.There was no apology offered that the stylist didn’t discuss the extra costs with me. Just excuse after excuse.Terrible service.Hair turned out OK but nothing special and nothing I haven’t had before. Definitely not worth what I forked out.I have actually had my hair done at Unley before a fairly long time ago and it was a disaster, colour was awful, stylist was an amateur & could barely do a blow dry.An overall rude & unfriendly atmosphere in the salon, particularly the male stylist that was there. All the staff look miserable & make you feel unwelcome.Definitely will not be returning.

The team at Zink Unley are exceptional! Not only do they make you feel and look amazing, the team always take the time to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.I have visited Zink multiple times and have had a great experience and outcome from all the staff that have taken care of my hair. Whatever inspiration you show Joe and the girls they always create a unique colour and style for you. I have gone from all different colours of hair and can not fault any of them. Most recently I have had balayage and the team aced it! The team is also helping me out with my wedding day and have taken the time to look after my hair for the big day!It is also a one stop shop for any events as they offer makeup services, this has made life very easy!Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to look and feel amazing.
